Is Support For VITA already dying? [Use the new thread]

Seriously? WTF is Sony doing in dealing with the Vita situation? Even though I'm more of a 3DS user, it's sickens my heart to see something like the Vita not perform toward its potential. I thought that if Sony truly cared about the Vita they would have actually have announced or shown titles for the Vita. My brother bought one a week after it came out and his played it maybe 5 hrs. since then. I want this platform to succeed since it doesn't help the idea of why get a dedicated handheld when you could just use your phone.

serious lack of Vita support in E3 only 2 third party games at Sony press conf, AC3L and COD,for a new Sony system this is just sad.

so yeah I can say now that third party support for Vita is officially dead.

That was a shit showing for Vita. Sony didn't even show a big first party effort.

Hopefully they'll have some of these games on the show floor. If not, I really can't recommend anyone buy this system based on the future lineup.

I still think its funny that we're seeing a repeat with the whole second screen thing. Not to jump on the copy Nintendo bandwagon, but both MS and Sony hitting the second screen thing right after Nintendo? Kinda seems like me too motion control all over again. At least analog and rumble were good additions for everyone.

I'm 35, and there have been only two titles worth purchasing. Uncharted, and MLB(which I got for $20). The rest is crap or out of my interest zone.

I'm fully willing to admit that my tastes have changed, but this system is a total bust for me. Its great hardware, and fully capable for the types of games i want to play, but they're non existent. Nothing has even been announced! Warriors Lair looks interesting. Other than that, tumbleweeds.

Sony needs to knock my socks off at E3 or I'm done with this thing.

I'm out.

I expected Sony to announce a slew of B-Team games or ports of really huge titles like RE6.

I didn't expect this.

I was waiting for at least some Shovelware from third party like EA and Ubi or even Android/iOs ports, but I was really shocked after seeing absolutely nothing ( one game and one logo).

I guess Sony at this day and age with all of it's money problem don't have the power or well to actually support it with games and pay for third party to throw their shit on it,really sad ending for the system.

The former is along the lines of what I had expected. The latter... I don't really know at this point why anyone would expect Vita to suddenly emerge as a third/fourth platform for HD multiplatform titles, considering the paucity of such announcements over the last year.

I'm not the kind of guy to sell his consoles, so my Vita will stay with me and I'm trying to make the best of it, but I will say that I very much regret owning a Vita right now. I guess I only have myself to blame seeing how I bought the hardware before the software is out, but who could have thought the Vita would be completely ignored by consumers and publishers alike.

Its crazy. Its really really crazy. I mean, I was somewhat pessimistic about Vita, but I didn't expect this

It's a really sad sight. The Vita isn't a bad piece of hardware, but for Sony to release it like they did and provide so little support is just depressing.

Sony just doesn't look like they care about it. It barely had its own dedicated portion during the press conference and the games were few and far between. Sony needed to come out guns blazing this E3 for the Vita with games galore and they didn't.

I love the Vita, but damn Sony... come the fuck on and start treating it like you actually care about it.
