Saiyans can breathe it space. They have several times. Plus it's really silly when you look at how powerful everyone gets in Dragon Ball Z.

Yeah, but in the grand scheme of things, DBZ characters aren't very strong compared to some manga and comics.

Sure but in their universe it's really funny imagining that many of the characters can easily destroy a planet without much effort if the really wanted to.

They still need 20 episodes to talk shit and power up, of course.

I don't think that there are other characters more powerful than the guys in Dragonball Z. Goku could vaporize whole planets easily if he wanted to. Everything in Dragonball is out of the scale. In GT, even more but I do not consider GT as Dragonball.

This isn't even the most powerful version of Superman. And we can't even be sure the most powerful version of Superman is the most powerful comic character. Destroying planets is chump business.

Does the hulk have the capacity for limitless rage? Also, he needs a ton of anger to survive a big threat, but what if he was depressed?

Yes. The Hulk's capacity for rage (and therefore his potential strength) are infinite. This has been documented multiple times by all the designated geniuses and cosmic beings in the Marvel Universe. Effectively, The Hulk can beat anyone if he gets angry enough.

These planets are just one powerful Kame-Hame-Ha from Goku if he powers up to the maximum. 9 years ago, Wizard han an imaginary fight between Goku and Superman and Goku easily won. But to tell you the truth, Goku and Superman are my favourite heroes anyway and I don't really care who is stronger between them.

Oh don't worry. Superman will just sneeze out a new solar system.

Right, powerful and fully charged. This picture is Clark Kent on a lunch break in terms of exertion. And Wizard? Come on bro.

I'll list some universes w/ one or more characters that can beat any DBZ character:

Saint Seiya
Bastard!
Marvel
DC
Sailor Moon
Tenchi
Transformers
Pokemon
TTGL
Digimon
etc..

Call me when Goku can throw Galaxies like shuriken.

I still agree with the guy who said Deadpool was most powerful, because he can "communicate" with the writers. Hulk ain't got shit on that.
While he's aware of his status as a comic book character, I don't think Deadpool's ever actually had a dialogue with an author before. So it's not like he could just ask whoever's writing him to let him win.

Still, his awareness of the medium means he could just "wait to fight the hulk until someone comes along who'll write it so that I win" so I'd still give it to the merc.

As far as I know only Animal Man, She Hulk, and Ambush Bug have actually talked to writers.

Yeah. The Marvel secretary usually stonewalls Deadpool when he shows up.

Yeah, the potential is there, which is what is important. Considering how much Deadpool stuff there is, I still wanna see a plot featuring him which actually plays with the 4th wall breaking 'power', rather than 'HEY GUYS it's deathstroke but WACKY'

This is a great thread, can't believe it got so big. all this talk makes me want to get back into comics again. When is DC resetting everything?

"I'm going to directly explain the significance of what just happened, in case you guys couldn't tell from the akward art."

I know it's a superhero comic thing but they can really improve the quality of the dialogue if they spoke the words out loud to themselves once or twice to make sure it isn't so horrid.

Is She-Hulk going to be in the Avengers movie?

Would be more useful than Black Widow. I'm still really curious how they are make all the cast members useful when anything that could threaten Thor could obliterate the rest of the Avengers combined.

I love Digimon and TTGL more than anything, but you're being straight up delusional.

ugh superhero comics could be made so much better by cutting down on panels and dialog. Do we really need to hear the character's philosophy while he is in a struggle for survival?

Errrrr, you realize Piccolo blew up the moon when his power level was sub 2,000, right?

I don't understand why people always bring up DBZ. Destroying a planet is almost like a specific power there, not a scale. Everything they do isn't on that scale. Their fighting, strength, general energy projection, aren't anywhere near the scale. The animation is just really dynamic. When vegeta came to earth, he could blow up a planet, but he could also be cut by a simple ass katana.

When Goku transformed in Super Sayian 3, the Kais could feel his energy in the far end of the universe/different dimensions and etc...

Simon is broken as hell. He runs off pure willpower. Its not a stretch at all to think that simon could beat goku

What's that supposed to mean? We don't feel qi/ki in the west so no character would be explained that way.

Cell is immune to gunfire, tanks etc and he isn't even close to the most powerful character in teh series. They move so fast cameras and the human eye can't keep up with them, they teleport across interplanetary distances, etc. I don't know how they rank against all superheroes, but they are damn fucking powerful. Planetary destruction requires stupendous amounts of energy (see: death star calcs).

Anti-Spiral (TTGL)

Notable Attacks/Techniques:

Infinity Big Bang Storm: In Grand Zamboa form, he grabs two galaxies in Super Spiral Space, and combines their energy to create a blast as powerful as the Big Bang.

ZeedMillenniummon (Digimon)

Notable Attacks/Techniques:

Chrono Paradox: Fires two atomic rays out of his mouths that destroy everything in their way and can destroy a whole universe in a single shot.

Time Destroyer: Sends his enemies to the other side of space-time.

Come again?

What's so crazy about Flash?
Beside being super fast, he can take speed from moving objects, lend speed to other things, heal extremely fast, if he chooses to he can make his perception react so fast that it seems like everything around him is still, and there's the Infinite Mass Punch.

I'm probably forgetting some stuff. Flash is a beast.

As far as I'm concerned, those Digimon descriptions are exaggerated. ZeedMillenniummon was taken down by a kid. Goku could do so much more. Plus it's not even real. It's made of computer stuffs.

And imagine The Joker with Flash powers and you'll have Professor Zoom, which does even more godhax stuff since he's not inhibited by a good conscience

there usually never is.

see: Star Wars vs Star Trek vs Warhammer nerdgasm threads.

arguing about things that writers can change or make up on the fly is pointless.
Exactly! Just for fun only!

This is disqualified from comparison by virtue of being completely fucking retarded.

The cartoon version? Absolutely. Comic version is an entirely different story.

Ah now I remember. How could I forget such a significant Flash power? He can vibrate through solid objects.

Plus he has an awesome costume.

C'mon guys. If you start pointing out how ridiculous this all is, the thread stops being fun.

Don't you ruin this for me you bastards! >:(
