Ahh that would be my other host then (gamevideos.net). I was afraid of that. OK I'll look into finding a better long term host solution for my videos then. Thank you.

I can edit my post (and delete the link) if it's just too slow for everyone. ;p
upload it to stage6 please :)

HOLY...!

I just got home from work, and saw my blue Wii light pulsing, and wondered what was going on.

I guess we know where the Hype for Metroid Prime 3 is now Matt.

We won't get it until closer to its out maybe?

Nooooooooooooooooo

For fucks sake, Nintendo.
The internet, is global.
Your community, is global.

If you're not gonna release the game in the PAL regions in as timely a fashion as you do the US, at least give us the free online promotion goodies on time. I can watch it at Nintendogal but can't watch it on my Wii? Fucking stupid.

Matt came to early, Nintendo Redeemed

FUCK YOU NINTENDO GIVE IT TO US IN AUSTRALIA

I don't have an account there. I'm just going to sacrifice my main hosting bandwidth and put it there. (Which is what I'm doing currently, uploading as fast as possible)

And yes, it's getting slammed, I apologize. Site generally doesn't get that much traffic and I thought there wouldn't be much interest since I thought everyone could check it out themselves, alas I was wrong.

So wait a minute. That means I have to get up, walk to the Wii, turn it on, turn on the television, press A to get by the menu screen, update the system, move my cursor to choose the wii shop channel, click A twice to choose and then start said channel, connect to the internet, click on the wii shop icon, click on the the download for a channel to watch Metroid Prime 3 Corruption, confirm it, wait for it to download, confirm that it downloaded, exit out of the menu, find the Metroid Prime 3 Corruption Preview channel, and wait for it to load?

He said "by the end of September". But yeah, there could still be something else coming. Some sort of Mario Galaxy demo would be a logical extension of this.

I surely hope so, but you never know with Nintendo.

We'd like to inform you that the Wii shop channel catalog has been updated to include a new channel. You can now download Metroid Prime 3 Preview at no charge by going to the WiiWare section of the Wii Shop Channel and selecting the Metroid Prime 3 Preview icon. In Metroid Prime 3 Preview, you are able to view video footage of Metroid Prime 3: Corruption.

Parents who want to control access to the Metroid Prime 3 Preview should refer to the Parental Controls options available in the Wii System Settings. To access these settings, return to the Wii Menu and select the Wii [options?]

It's a month of Metroid! said:
It's been almost three years since the release of Metroid(r) Prime 2: Echoes on the Nintendo Gamecube(tm) and a year and a half since Metroid(r) Prime: Hunters put you Nintendo DS(tm) stylus into overdrive. Now the Wii Shop Channel is here to help get you "primed" for the upcoming release of Metroid Prime 3: Corruption on Wii(tm)!

It all starts with the Metroid Prime 3: Preview. This new channel, available in the WiiWare(tm) section of the Wii Shop Channel, is dedicated solely to Metroid(r) Prime 3: Corruption. From the unique cursor and layout to the movies giving you a preview of the game's story line and game play. There's no denying you've entered the realm of Metroid.

Next up is the game that started it all--Metroid on the NES(r). Bring on the nostalgia and fond memories as you explore Planet Zebes and get reintroduced to Samus and classic enemies like Ridley and Mother Brain! Metroid is rated E with Mild Fantasy Voilence by the ESRB. Available to download for 500 Wii Points(tm) on August 13 from the Virtual Console section of the Wii Shop Channel.

What better way to follow that than with the Super NES(r) classes: Super Metroid(r). Arguably one of the greatest games ever. Super Metroid upped the ante with bigger and badder bosses, along with new items such as the Grappling Beam and X-Ray Scope. Super Metroid is rated E with Mild Violence by the ESRB. Available to download for 800 Wii Points on August 20 from the Virtual Console section of the Wii Shop Channel.

Wrapping up the Month of Metroid is the arrival of Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. Taking all the elements that made the previous Prime games so special and adding Wii-specific controls; Metroid Prim 3: Corruption is one of the most innovative and highly anticipated game releases this year! Metroid Prime 3: Corruption is rated T with Animated Blood and Violence by the ESRB. Available for purchase later this month at you local retailer.

Get ready to suit up and tackle some of gaming's most famous adventures with Samus!

Honestly, I think it's based on your country setting. I'm going to assume you're European. When I attempted to change the clock to a pm setting, it counts a 24 hour clock but still displays as a 12-hour cycle.

Here's a question, though, has there always been an option for three connection settings in the 'Internet' button? Why?

Was that Jennifer Hale (who is also Samus, supposedly) doing the voice over in the first video? It's been a while since I've heard her.

The game looks okay. I never really understood why everyone goes nutso over Metroid Prime's graphics, and the same can be said about the third installment. Yeah, they're very clean, but they don't really jump out at me. Never have. The music in the trailer felt... off, seeing how the first and second had some really nice music.

The battle in the second video looked incredibly boring. Stand here. Shoot this. Bleh. Hope that was near the beginning and that there are bigger battles to be fought later on. Not really digging the overall "shit let's make it Halo instead" feeling of this either.

What are you guys talking about? This isn't hype..the only people who will realize this are the hardcore Ngamers who were already going to buying Metroid..

This is just fan service. Awesome fane service. Im guessing we'll get ours when theres a month left till our release.

So everyone with their Wii connected to the net will get a blue light telling them about this?

That's pretty good marketing.
Yes, it's good they're finally doing this.
