The thing about Bran feeling like bullshit in the show is: he didn’t actually do anything. He could see through time and find out Jon’s lineage but that hardly amounts to anything except turning him off on banging his aunt. Yes that contributes to her going mad but really? That’s all the true lineage meant to the story? Then Bran just sits there for the Night King to get him and doesn’t do shit except get saved by Arya. Then nada, then he’s king.
