I like watching KimJustice's videos as they are really well researched retro pieces, and I still watch James Rolfe as he's about the same age as me and grew up on the same stuff, although I like his film reviews more.
If youtubers were around when I was a kid I would definitely have watched loads, as we were desperate for games media of any sort back then, limited to a handful of magazines and a couple of tv shows a month. Near infinite 'lets plays', of games I couldn't afford on my pocket money and paper round, would have been very cool. These days I have limited time for my hobby but money is less of an issue, so I'd rather spend those few hours playing the games I want rather than watching people with internet personas scream their way through something I'd rather be playing instead. Zero interest in all the reaction videos to reaction videos social media drama either. /Skinner no, 'it's the children who are wrong' jpeg.
