Anyone watch episode 10 of Last Friends?

Damn...

Well, i'm back to Hotaru no Hikari right nizzle, and I'm on episode 8, halfway through, and i think that
Cap'n kakkoi is funna turn out to be a douche. Why? Cause, she's already fucked hiim and they are moving in together. Something has got to happen over the next 2 and a half eps.

EDIT: Oh man... that guy's super nice. Maybe he's a murderer or something? SOMETHING HAS TO HAPPEN.

Edit 2:
Oh, I see. He's a complete pretentious cock-master.

Hotaru no Hikari finisht.

I misjudged Cap'n Kakkoi a little bit. He was actually a good guy, and perfectly justified. That was an okay show. Kinda lost it's charm after 3 eps. But, I think this is a good example as to why you don't move in with somebody after dating them a week.

I just watched episode 3 of Last Friends. Its so hard to watch because Michiro is such a retard. She isn't even that pretty. Right now, I'm just watching to see what happens with the rest of the cast.

Sweet, some kekkon dekinai otoko talk in here. I must say it is probably one of the best (i not the) I've seen so far. Abe Hiroshi became my new idol after that series. :lol

If you enjoyed him in Kekkon you should really take a look at At Home Dad, it is almost as awesome:

I'm in the middle of my first ever J-drama, 1 litre of tears. Holy crap, it's a tear jerker! I'm thoroughly enjoying it.

in The densha ex special, @deep's main rogue shows up

The stuttering guy? Or by rogue, do you mean the rich otaku who pays people to beat up other otaku?

I didn't watch any of the extra specials because I was so sure they would suck balls when I had such good memories of the original show.

EDIT: Okay, started watching Akihabara@deep. It's like revenge of the nerds, but fucked up. Like, in episode 4, when
They told the viz-kei band to switch out the fake knives for real knives. That's not cool! That dude could have died!
Fucked up.

What a twist to the ending. I thought things would just work out... then again, I've never been in a relationship.

Funny how the Wii and Excite Truck had a cameo but in a bad way. :/

What is it with J-Drama and architects? More than three shows I watched already had architects involved heavily when it came to jobs. It is like George Costanza is writing them all.

Ku ku ku ku ku.

This show is the wet dream of some of my classmates. oh, and that one girl dressed up as Lum-chan was so hot. She looks butch, but she's actually bangin'.

hey didn't even know there was a thread on this, nice

Right now i'm just watching change, which is awesome. Finished gokusen 2 not long ago and while I liked it, it was way too similar to the first season, is that the same case with the 3rd season too?

The first season was okay. Is the second season any good compared to the first? how would you put it? The second season doesn't have that guy who plays the "rich badass with a heart of gold who plays by his own rules" characters all the time. (Matsumoto)

I prefered the first, the students and their problems were a lot more interesting while in s2 they're a bit more exagerrated. The teachers are also a lot better in the first season.

There's the same kind of class leader guy, only in s2 there's two and they split the characteristics of the guy from s1. If you hated that character in s1, you'll hate these two even more

Yankumi is just as funny as in the first season though, made it worth watching

Oh no, I like Jun Matsumoto's archetypical character of the Rich runaway badass with a heart of gold. I thought he was the best character in the first show. My Boss, My Hero is a totally better secret yakuza in highschool show, but it was also a lot goofier.

Also, Tomoya Nagase as Makki is just awesome.

And At Home Dad is pretty good. It actually makes you wish you had kids, which is crazy! However, I don't buy the fact that they complain about spending a lot of money on something when they have a PSX in their house. Not a PS2, not a PS1, a freaking PSX. Aren't those things really expensive?

I think you need to check MMJ-produced dramas.

Is there is a list of what they did translated?

looking at the pictures I notice:

-Kekkon Dekinai
-Ashita no Kita Yoshio
-At Home Dad
-Dragon Zakura

and I liked all those.

If season two was "let's use the same script as season one with different names and hope nobody notices", season three is moreso.

So, I'm watching At Home Dad and suddenly I see this:

Is that just ketchup on toast. What the hell?

Yep. It's basically fanservice for people who liked the first one. They are presuming a lot of the people watching this one missed out on the first season, I suppose. (ratings suggest this)

Aight...

So, I'm watching the second Gokusen. It seems like this class isn't nearly as bastard-like compared to the last one. Basically, the premise is a bunch of wannabe gangster kids get schooled by a true gangsta. However, she simply solves every problem by beating up a bunch of kids. She can look really ugly, and at times, kinda hot. And, she still got no love for police and she got love for the Yakuza lifestyle. But, three episodes in, I can tell you without a doubt that this is the same exact show.

Wow, the J-drama version of my sassy girl is being headline by mr.nice guy himself Kusanagi Tsuyoshi. Serisouslly every role I have seen him in is the nice guy getting dumped on but ultimately coming out way ahead type of thing.

Is Stand Up the anime about the 4 virgins in the sex craved school?

I was about to start that as my next series. Rookies continues to be awesome, but it is a bit tedious at times. I hate it when shows with large casts have to talk about each and every one. It is like the endless goodbyes from HanaKimi.

I just read the complete spoilers for the HanaDan movie. Totally cheesy, but it sounds like the perfect way to wrap up the series.

(now it's the manga's turn)

I read it. Although I didn't watch the second series because I thought it'd be too 'lovey dovey', it must be great to be a Hana Yori Dango fan, going along with the ride and finishing with the movie.

I'm in a J-Drama mood now. Although though I haven't seen many that are great plot/acting wise, it's my favourite medium for feel-good stuff. I don't know if that makes me unhealthily obsessed with Japan, but that's how it is.

I thought the second season was better than the first, really. No lovey dovey.

I watched the show about the ultimate robot boyfriend. Does this make me gay? It's really quite good, as he is very very creepy.

Have you guys watched any J-dramas set in Tokyo with lots of great shots of the city? Unusual request, but I got back from a trip to East Asia and I'm still on a high from going to Tokyo. Love that city.

Hotaru no Hikari is set around Omotesando, Yama Onna Kabe Onna in Ginza, and Densha Otoko in Akihabara of course. Any recommended shows in Shibuya or Shinjuku?
