Damn...
in The densha ex special, @deep's main rogue shows upvas_a_morir said:Wait... what do you mean by crossover? Like Flinstones meet the Jetsons?

I misjudged Cap'n Kakkoi a little bit. He was actually a good guy, and perfectly justified. That was an okay show. Kinda lost it's charm after 3 eps. But, I think this is a good example as to why you don't move in with somebody after dating them a week.
Mother of god.Linkzg said:What is it with J-Drama and architects? More than three shows I watched already had architects involved heavily when it came to jobs. It is like George Costanza is writing them all.

Please list me these jdramas.

Oh... I've already made posts in this thread related to Kekkon and At home dad.Linkzg said:Off the top of my head:
-At Home Dad (Wife works writing in an architect magazine)
-Kekkon Dekinai Otoko (Main character was an architect)
-Hotaru no Hikaru (All main characters working as architects)
Thank you too, will check for info.vas_a_morir said:アット*バンダレーの町 is one. (Atto Bandare no Machi)
Rich Otaku. @deep won me with the first ep at the when the guy said "Last Boss"vas_a_morir said:The stuttering guy? Or by rogue, do you mean the rich otaku who pays people to beat up other otaku?
I didn't watch any of the extra specials because I was so sure they would suck balls when I had such good memories of the original show.
EDIT: Okay, started watching Akihabara@deep. It's like revenge of the nerds, but fucked up. Like, in episode 4, whenFucked up.They told the viz-kei band to switch out the fake knives for real knives. That's not cool! That dude could have died!

Right now i'm just watching change, which is awesome. Finished gokusen 2 not long ago and while I liked it, it was way too similar to the first season, is that the same case with the 3rd season too?
vas_a_morir said:The first season was okay. Is the second season any good compared to the first? how would you put it? The second season doesn't have that guy who plays the "rich badass with a heart of gold who plays by his own rules" characters all the time. (Matsumoto)
GMB said:Sweet, some kekkon dekinai otoko talk in here. I must say it is probably one of the best (i not the) I've seen so far. Abe Hiroshi became my new idol after that series. :lol

X26 said:I prefered the first, the students and their problems were a lot more interesting while in s2 they're a bit more exagerrated. The teachers are also a lot better in the first season.
There's the same kind of class leader guy, only in s2 there's two and they split the characteristics of the guy from s1. If you hated that character in s1, you'll hate these two even more
Yankumi is just as funny as in the first season though, made it worth watching
vas_a_morir said:Oh no, I like Jun Matsumoto's archetypical character of the Rich runaway badass with a heart of gold. I thought he was the best character in the first show. My Boss, My Hero is a totally better secret yakuza in highschool show, but it was also a lot goofier.

If season two was "let's use the same script as season one with different names and hope nobody notices", season three is moreso.X26 said:Right now i'm just watching change, which is awesome. Scribble said:I read it. Although I didn't watch the second series because I thought it'd be too 'lovey dovey', it must be great to be a Hana Yori Dango fan, going along with the ride and finishing with the movie.
I'm in a J-Drama mood now. Although though I haven't seen many that are great plot/acting wise, it's my favourite medium for feel-good stuff. I don't know if that makes me unhealthily obsessed with Japan, but that's how it is.
