Ultimately I think this game will go down in history as a lesson for the absolute wrong way to go about the promotion/pre-release aspect of a video game, and if Microsoft lets a Too Human sequel happen (which strikes me as highly unlikely barring some sort of airtight contract), they'll probably want SK to shut the hell up as a form of damage control.
I can't help but think that if Microsoft handled the PR angle of Too Human exclusively, the outcome would be a lot better in that most people still wouldn't care about the game, but there probably would not be an extremely vocal segment of gamers who passionately detest it and make sure everybody else knows.
