Has any wrestler ever been so fed up that they purposely fucked up a live show? Like not kicking out of a pin or holding someone down for a 3 count? I mean, I would imagine you would be blacklisted from wrestling forever but I can see some guys getting so fed up and just going out like that. Of course, maybe there are contracts that would open them up to legal action if they did something like that. Who knows!

Closest thing I can think of is the infamous HBK/Hogan match with the overselling.

Didn't Jeff Jarrett and Hogan have a situation like this in WCW or was that a work?

Sting did something like that to Jeff Hardy when Jeff was wasted, but that was to save hes junky ass.

I've heard Hogan flip flop on whether this was a work or not so many times I stopped caring. I just forgot about it along with the rest of 2000 WCW.

cm punk started shooting on hhh, stephanie, vince, hogan and rock. he even mentioned ROH and new japan.

they had to cut his mic and suspend him

I can't believe he mentioned all of those people, and even how he won't kiss ass like they do.

Thank God they didn't bury Punk. I guess they changed their minds when they realized how big Punk became the past few days. I doubt they changed their minds because he's better than most of the roster. :/

According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there were six different scripts written for this past Monday's RAW.

The main goal for the entire CM Punk storyline was not so much for him to get over, but rather to get over Triple H taking over Vince McMahon's position.

The original plan for CM Punk's return was as follows: Get attacked by HHH, laid out with the pedigree, and then Alberto Del Rio would cash in his Money in the Bank leading to Del Rio vs. John Cena at Summerslam. The idea was that HHH would become a major heel as a result and feud with a babyface Punk. Plans ending up changing, and as Meltzer noted, Punk's elevation wasn't "shut down."

WTF?

They were going to start a new generation of Vince vs Austin, but I'd rather have it Vince vs Punk than HHH vs Punk.

The inevitable Del Rio title reign looms ever closer, I really can't bring myself to get excited. Usually i'd be all for new main eventers but in this case i'm not entirely sold, Del Rio seems to get a lukewarm reception even with his numerous big pushes and heel tendencies. So i'm basically expecting a Swagger style reign here.

That Buff/La parka match is hard to watch! There's no way that was a work... Right?

Punk/Cena is too hot right now to insert Del Rio. It kinda sucks for him cause he keeps getting pushed back by stuff out of his control (Edge retiring, now Punk catching fire), and now he doesn't have quite the heat that he once did. I think that'll change when he cashes in though.

from 2010, hogan says he soldout MSG and vince mcmahon might be giving him a push, but they're paying him peanuts. and when it comes down to hulk hogan's TNA vs cm punk, he will show him who knows the business better

Holmes: Do you think Punk has what it takes to be the next big thing?

Hogan: It depends. It’s not Punk’s decision, it’s Vince McMahon. When he was on TV the other night and said he could make ten John Cenas, that’s true. When Vince McMahon says he can make another Hulk Hogan, that’s true. Everybody’s replaceable. It’s the power of the TV, it’s not the power of the wrestlers. Now, if you’re given the football, you’ve got to be able to run with it. Cause a lot of guys were given the ball. The Rock ran with it a certain distance. Stone Cold ran with it a certain distance. Hulk Hogan ran with it a certain distance. We all have our run. But it’s really the power of the TV. TV is the star.

Haha, This Fire Burns always reminded of Fixation on the Darkness. She looks great too. Too bad they let her go, one of the few talented female wrestlers they had/have.
She'll probably be back. I could see MVP coming back too. A lot of ex-WWE wrestlers go to Japan and improve and come back later. I could especially see it happening with the overwhelming change in management. I could see a Prince Devitt getting snagged as well.

I'm hoping MVP makes a return. Ballin'
