I know people keep saying 6 months blah, blah, blah. But can a lot change in 6 months? Serious question, I would imagine what they've shown in terms of cg is complete if not then it must certainly be near the visual fidelity they're aiming for.
Ehhh
Genetically modified Dinos
Ehhhhhhh
Giving this a bump, since it was an end of a page post.

Yeah whoever heard of kids in Jurassic Park?

At least Pratt's character had trained these raptors for many years most likely.Exactly what I was thinking.
Amazing! I'm sure the Dinosaurs will have more than just 11 minutes total, of screen time. Unlike Godzilla....
Because Safety Not Guaranteed is FANTASTIC! Have you even seen it?
Why does everyone complain about cgi when a film is 6 months away? You know it's not finished.
Anyways, movie looks great.
They do this every single time and it baffles me. "What, this unfinished movie has unfinished effects! Clear it will be direct to DVD Brazillain knockoff level in the cinemas!".
Someone needs to gif that with a "haters gonna hate" caption.
I liked the trailer. I'm sure the CGI will look better in June too.
Well, The Lost World was fantastic imo (sans the ridiculous gymnastics shit lol), so sure![]()
Thank you. More_Badass is the only one of you that makes sense!
is this movie a reboot? Nothing in the previous movie relates to this?
Does Chris Pratt control a pack of velociraptors that help him hunt?
Because if so, I'm going to see this movie 10 times.
Then I hope they "tighten the graphics" up. They can start with the gate and work from there.Yes.

Quoting myself for a new page. I feel this is a relevant argument as to why people are dissapointed. JP was Spielberg looking at me going "Hey kid, you know that stupid thing you love? Well, I'm gonna make everybody see how amazing and dangerous dinosaurs really are."
I don't know if this film really needs to exist. They made dinosaurs real and scary, why make them silly and tame again? Feels like a pre-JP dinosaur movie.
It is related. One of the (very) minor characters from the first movie return in this.
Honestly... Meh.
The whole focus on genetically modified dinosaurs moves this movie away from "nature vs man" story that I wanted to see in Jurassic film franchise. This is now SF film in which highly capable alien creature is hunting humans in a zoo.
The first movie had genetically modified dinos... using frog DNA. And if the park was a success, what do you think the natural progression would be?
Masrani Corporation's Chief Operations Officer Mr. Richard Wiesner described the year's success as merely acceptable. "You can't expect the world's greatest theme park to merely rely on the same attractions. We need to be proactive, thinking of bigger and better things. Isla Nublar only peaks in attendance during the American holiday season. Why? Proximity. The world has seen what we have to offer, but they aren't in awe as they once used to be. We need to change that. We have a chance to over the upcoming few years."
It's funny. When I first heard the plot, I thought it was so stupid. But after re-reading the book, and reading the backstory and the discussion in the other thread, my opinion changed. The whole idea really just works and fits in with the themes of Jurassic ParkThank you. More_Badass is the only one of you that makes sense!
Yes, but RIGHT NOW, it looks horrendous.
CGI will no doubt receive a huge upgrade before release.
Otherwise the film looks better than JP3 already and that makes it watchable, warts and all.
Yes, but RIGHT NOW, it looks horrendous.
People are gonna keep acting like seven months in post production won't help CG for this movie, so this is kind of a moot point...
