For some reason when I start the game it is a black screen after I press enter a few times then alt tab the game shows up also my non multiplayer version no longer works. I guess I'll reinstall after the beta is over.

Having access tot he black market makes this such much more fun. Rocket launchers!

So where do all the gaffers hang out... can someone point where Lost is on the map?
 
had quite a bit of fun but i think im done now, not much to do once you've been everywhere and jacked everything

when it releases properly this could be amazing

I don't think it will change too much. I think it will pretty much be what you see here (with maybe black market working properly) but more stable. I hope I'm wrong, but an admin was answering questions and he said that there wouldn't be NPCs or missions, just free roam.

They however said that there will be lua coding for games modes like SAMP. It then gives the multiplayer a chance to be really different

I think on foot characters and weapons being synced will make a huge difference. Don't rocket launchers still do nothing to the world despite them appearing to launch for the player?

I stand corrected. That sounds pretty cool. Speaking of which, San Andreas needs to go on sale so I can use that mod.

yeah weapons on foot dont sync, that would make a big difference

shooting down chopper missile spammers raining upon you will be possible at least

I'm just waiting for more people to discover the Black Market thing and use it to bring more "justice" to the airports.

Wait, if you use the Black Market to get a chopper, will people be able to see/be affected by the gun and missiles on it?

I'm kind of guessing the Black Market exploit probably isn't all that dangerous to the server. Since nobody else can see your vehicles, that probably implies the server isn't keeping track of them, unless it does keep track of gunfire from them, which needs to be tested.
 
Yay, I got it working. Just had to make sure both programs were running as administrator, unblocked in Windows Firewall, and MAGIC.

And it crashed while I was hanging from a helicopter and demanding the pilot take me to a different airport. GOTTA GET BACK IN NOW

Blackmarket stuff doesn't seem to be synced. It's mostly for fast travelling as far as I've seen.
 
Asshole was hovering over the spawn point with his chopper so I jacked it. Ended up getting shot down but jacked another chopper nearby and got into another aerial fight. Said fuck it, jumped out of mine, and grappled over to the other to steal that one too. Good times.
 
Nah hate it, way to buggy and annoying. Plus surprisingly limited in what you can do/I can't get the full saves to work.
 
Haha, was following some guy all around the roads, he would slow down for me if I crashed. Ended up at an airport, he flew back and forth until I was able to get on. Fell off over an island he tried to come and get me but I fell into the water and then he crashed. Was telling him to just go on without me, but he got a airliner and came back for me after respawning. Then he dropped me off at the MHC. Good times.

I try to rescue people and I keep crashing. WHY?
