I feel so wealthy.

My parents 24 years of some shit so they decided to take me and my sis out to Red Lobster.
It was kind of a surprise, I had just woken up and was about to drink my morning coffee. So we head to Red Lobster and at this point I'm really really hungry.

I check the menu and see they have a four course meal for $14.99!!!!
I get a spicy chicken tortilla soup, a ceaser salad, and as an entree I got some spicy habanero shrimp bites with a skewer of garlic shrimp, and for dessert brownie a la mode.

While we're waiting they bring out those delicious bread things. Oddly they bring five pieces of bread when there's four of us.
Delicious bread.

Next comes my soup and my salad, and it didn't disappoint. It was probably my favorite part of the meal. I had never had spicy tortilla soup. Definitely gonna eat this again one day. Salad was salad.

When I ordered the entree the waitress said that it was really spicy. Guess she has a weak mouth, because it was barely spicy. More sweet than spicy.

At last came dessert. By now I've eaten probably 1500 calories worth of food in one sitting. I felt like a king. Brownie was delicious, and the ice cream I didn't really finish. Not a fan of the chocolate syrup people put on ice cream.

I think I ate 95% of my meal, and that was probably the most I've eaten in the last 2 years.

So GAF, what do y'all think of fine dining and four course meals? Is it too much?

Cus I thought it was too much. I feel like I'm gonna double my daily caloric intake today :/

Red Lobster does not equal fine dining. Four course meals are epic at the right place but from a chain restaurant like this? It's just trying to sound better than it is bordering on false advertising.

I had a 13 course meal. 13 jr bacon cheeseburgers. I was looking down at the peasants eating their combos.

I don't know if choosing to have both soup and salad makes it a four course meal. And when did we start bragging about going to Red Lobster?

Troll thread? Troll thread.

I'm not really hating on Red Lobster or 15 dollar meals, because I am actually pretty poor overall, but this is a worst attempt at a tag fish I've seen in years.

I lol too at OP 10/10 :)

my most craziest meal was at a Chinese wedding. 15 course meal including shark fin soup (back then it was still politically correct to eat). They had to roll me home.

4 course red lobster? That's an under average weekend meal. Its like showing off a breakfast buffet at Dennys (no offense OP)

Sounds like some nice grub you had there, OP. Not enough grey poupon for the upper class gaffers who got their replies in first, it seems!

I went to Olive Garden the other day and I felt like a king. I got unlimited soup and breadsticks and I had some of the finest italian cuisine you could possibly imagine. I'm sure the chef was an experienced sicilian.

Oh god I'm sitting down right now Cus I'm so full.

Why y'all hating on Reb Lobster tho? It's probably my third time going my whole life.
I thought it was pretty good. Service was alright, waitresses weren't that fine tho.

Did they ask you how many breadsticks you wanted and you said "unlimited"? LOL CLASSIC!

Oh and pic of OP:

I believe you said something about feeling rich before bringing up Red Lobster? That might be the issue. You can't name a dime a dozen restaurant chain and say you feel first class from that.

Also, diarrhea

I remember the first time I had a Four Course meal. Taco Bell's Doritos Locos Tacos Dinner Box, minutes after I finish it, I was down on the floor moaning.

I didn't felt like a king.

I meant it in a "just ate a lot" way, not a "just spent a lot" way

It's not really hate, it's just kind of like bragging about going to TGI Fridays or another restaurant of that caliber. Thread title led me to believe the thread was going to be about some exquisite food porn and being met with Red Lobster is a bit humorous. Having the word Lobster in the title doesn't make it a fancy restaurant.
