Justice League Official Heroes Trailer

Damn everyone looks hot as fuck in their costumes <3

This looks so hype. Hope the story is more than an Avengers movie type invasion movie. Give me darkseid give me luthor etc

My biggest problem with this movie so far is the Daily Planet, what self respecting newspaper would publish "WORLD WITHOUT HOPE" as a fucking headline

Well I mean, I think it's WaPo that has a continued thing called :"Democracy Dies in Darkness so doesn't seem out of the realm of reason in this day and age

Did they really have to slather the big fight in red like that?

Well, I mean know why, but sure it has some barring on the story so curious to see how it plays out

Ugh, Aquaman is going to suck in this isn't he.

I mean I don't need things to always be true to the comics but if you're going to divert from it don't make a trash character.

Joss Whedon's influence: QUICK, EVERYONE DO A SIDE SMIRK TO SHOW HOW MUCH FUN YOU'RE HAVING. THIS IS FUN AND YOU'RE FUN PEOPLE HAVING FUN.

And Momoa, do absolutely everything in your power to not be in or near the water at any given moment. I'm talking airborne, as often as you can.

The best parts of this film potentially seems to be the characters having more fun than we've seen in MoS and BvS so far: Aquabro and Flash Kid, specifically. Seeing even Batman lighten up a little is nice. It's going to be the interplay of these characters that makes or breaks the film.

The potentially worst parts of the film appear to be the gigantic battles that are trying to out-epic the most epic of epic battles, possibly resulting in a much of CG wankery. Of course, that's just my initial impression based off nothing but these trailers. Still, it makes me anxious because... it just doesn't look all that interesting.

The more I see of Aquaman the more it just seems they were like fuck the comic character lets just make Mamoa the character instead. Which is fine because Aquaman is boring as fuck.

I like what they're doing in terms of story and tone, but watching these action sequences make me fear they'll be even more chaotic and nonsensical than the Doomsday fight in BvS or the Ares fight in Wonder Woman. They just get into CGI overload with these over-involved sequences and it's hard to care about what's going on.

I really don't want them to replicate something similar to Fox Quicksilver's scenes for The Flash. With the Speed Force they can get really creative with The Flash especially on the big screen. I don't have any ideas in particular though. It would be cool to see if this Flash has learned to steal a person's kinetic energy/speed, and he would freeze Steppenwolf, and then a team-up attack or something.

They did a good job with removing Cavill’s facial hair. Other than that meh. Still can’t believe this will come out this year. Some of the CG looked rough.

Uhhh... is there any evidence signifying that this is from their reshoots where they had to remove the mustache? Because it's not like they were redoing everything once Whedon took control.

Zack Snyder posted storyboards for that scenes, so it's likely not from the reshoots.

And Clark's collar is open even in the storyboards. No chest hair scribbled on for maximum accuracy.

I'm really over this superheroes fighting CG horde third-act stuff.

Every vibe I get from this just makes me feel like I've seen this a dozen times before - which is probably intentional because they're making this as safe and crowd-pleasing as possible after their last few failures.

Third act looks like it’ll be a big CG clusterfuck but hopefully the setup is cool.

Aquaman, WW, and bats seem to fit well but cyborg looks awful and I can’t stand the flash’s acting. He’s so OTT in his quirkiness it comes off as so forced. Like Grant Gustin does a better job and he’s on the CW

EDIT: to be clear I have no problem with lots of cgi in an alien invasion superhero movie but it’s the cartooniness of it all where the real people look out of place or it’s just blobby like when aquaman is in the sky. Just looks like a bad video game

The visuals look alright to me. Snyder always goes for a certain aesthetic that makes everything look unreal and fantastical even in a real-world setting which leads to things not looking as integrated as they could. It's love it or hate it, but in my opinion some shots look really great even if it's not realism.

Regardless, wonky CG doesn't really affect my enjoyment of a film, seeing how I loved WW.

I really enjoyed this and the trailer before it. Really can't wait to watch this next month.

Ugghh....

I just... don't like the look of it much. Im holding faith. And I love Whedons work usually and Ill support Momoa wherever he goes, but man...

Its an issue, but its unfair to this film IMO. We have seen final act vs nameless hordes because of the 2 Avenger films, and its tough to have a big team of heroes without multiple adversaries for them to fight against. Im giving them a pass on this.

Maybe in war crimes but was he really policing normal crime around the world like that? In BVS wasn't there still plenty of crimes going on in Gotham with an active Superman right across from it. Like I get the point they're trying to make with his death it just wasn't earned. He seemed like too much of a polarizing figure in the MoS and BvS.

Batman had a big board with all the crimes Superman was stopping around the city, Wallace also had tons of News clipping of Superman stopping stuff from disasters to street crime. Guy was everywhere. He was polarizing to the Media (Who Snyder admitted was the Third character in the movie).

The only part that didn't look good to me was Aquaman being thrown around. Looked great other than that and I'm really excited now.

That and how they have to have CGI hair for underwater. At a point, yeah, everything is CGI. Have to accept that scenes underwater or characters like the Hulk will always look a little off. But it makes me curious for the standalone Aquaman movie. With JL, I get the sense that's the one major underwater action scene. Aquaman's movie is going to have a ton of scenes underwater.

Like, we haven't seen how they talk and communicate underwater. It's a strange hurdle to work around.

Jeez Earth is extremely fucked up at this point. First the terraforming machines and now this. I wanna see some long-term ramifications for all this planet altering.

Transformers: The Last Knight destroyed half of the moon and killed hundreds of millions of people, that one is the true wild card of devastation!

But these movies definitely come close.

I hope the Amazons don't get wiped out. :(

I like how the movie is about the 6 Leaguers but there are entire groups/civilizations invested in Earth's survival (the Amazons, Atlanteans, regular humans possibly). Maybe the League could lead an army in the future!

Hopefully in the special edition blu-ray Aquaman will do the whole "can you read my mind" monologue. That plus the Superman stache and we're good.

I would imagine that the amazons scenes are flashbacks from when Darkseid first came to Earth.

SAY WHAT? I knew Superman was strong but HOLY SHIT. Nobody should even think of trying to fight a guy like that. He's basically comic book strong when doing all those crazy strength feats. Looking back at it now, Batman should've been dead from when they fault. Even if he was going easy on Bruce. That's insane strength.

They are fighting droves of a robot looking enemy type and the Avengers has given us lots of that already but it still looks fun.
