Cyborg comes off looking like such a tool during his origin. It was maybe the most silly comic book-esque moment in the movie.

I really have little to no experience with the comics, just the animated content and movies. Is Darkseid suppose to be that tall? Did this one get it right and all the other ones get it wrong or vice versa?
New52 = Bigger Darkseid.

It was the new 52/this film, I thought the same thing. Don't remember him dwarfing the League or anyone like that before.
But it worked in this film. It also worked that no one was his equal and took a team effort!

You are both wrong, it's Mask of the Phantasm. Batman vs Police, Batman vs Joker, origin that doesn't suck, godly score, it has no equal.
I gave up on buying DC's DTV movies a while back, but Flashpoint was surprisingly good. Might have to start collecting again.

. Beginning was nice but later on it felt all actiony and team mashup was too much like avengers.
Also just like MOS Supes didn't care about any one and he was more of a dick even to other heroes. Also WW scene where she first saw Supes was cringe worthy. So was blinding Darkseid.

Actually, until the very end of his origin (where he petulantly grabbed the Motherbox) he was pretty damn reasonable.
If anything, his dad leading him on was unjustified.
...the one where Wonder Woman murders a kid, beheads the wife of the man she's sleeping with, and strangles a man by tying her lasso around his neck and simply floats up as he squirms and suffocates?

Can't say I really enjoyed this aside from Hal and Bruce' s banter. Probably cause theyre the only one who are the same in the New 52. And Barry. New 52 incarnations of these characters just weird me out.

Really enjoyed it, I wasn't so sure about the new voices but after a while I didn't notice anymore. The banter was really good between Green Lantern and Batman and I loved the Green Lantern/Flash start

Overall enjoyed it a lot and happy to have it in my collection, but for me Flashpoint is still the best Justice League animated movie- I do however feel this movie has the best Wonder Woman (she was GREAT!).

I actually really liked Darkseid's voice. He seemed far more menacing in this one than he did in the other DCAU movies.
Also, Superman really came across as an absolute dick in this movie.

nah his dad was a dick. you can spare a few hours to go see your son do what he loves.
All the characters come off as works in progress. It really felt like a really awesome 4-Episode pilot for a new Justice League show.

I took his dad missing the football game because he loved his son and he was trying to save his son from potential danger from this alien technology that they discovered.

Wonder Woman was the best once the action started but yeah holy shit put that chick on mute. Fucking terrible voice acting.
The ice cream part was so shit. Superman was an asshole, that scene when he met wonder woman was corny as hell too.
Bruce, Barry and Hal were fine though. And I liked Shazam.
Speaking of assholes what's up with cyborg's father? Dude was irrationally hating on his son.

I think this might be the best Justice League movie yet. The action definitely was. I gotta say I was really happy with it.
DC is really on point with these. Between this and the Flashpoint movie, they've really steped up their game.

I think my favorite thing about Darkseid in this was how he arrives on Earth, kicks some superhero butt and then....just flies around blowing up random shit.
Like,at one point he sits there in the air and blows up a water tower.
Just a random water tower. Darkseid just did not like that kind of primitive water storage unit AT ALL so he OMEGA BEAMS that shit.

You saw him briefly lounging around in the shadows (because adequate lighting is not fitting for an evil villain).
I also didn't like Wonder Woman. She came across as somewhat unhinged and lacking in understanding of social norms.

Bummed out by the lack of Christopher Drake doing the music. His Justice League theme that had been used in the last couple of Justice League movies was fantastic.

The digital version came out on iTunes this tuesday, street date for the disc versions is February 4th.
I really enjoyed it. The banter between most of the characters was great, the movie was action packed and every character had a chance to shine. This should be the template for a Justice League movie IMO. Green Lantern was probably the best in this... either him or Cyborg (it was more of a Cyborg origin movie so of course he comes off better).
My only few problems:
*Didn't like WW voice actress. WW kicked the most ass in the action scenes but some of her lines were just too much. Batman's VA sort of grew on me.
*Superman was a dick, holy shit. Usually in these JL movies Superman is the nice guy while Batman is the dick but it was almost the opposite. At least Superman's new personality lead to some bad ass moments.
*Only one a bigger dick that Superman was Cyborg's dad.
