You had sex with underage prostitute and it didn't do a thing to your career too.

I laughed and I'm black. Get off this kid's back.

He probably interacts with black people a lot more than most non-black folks on the internet who will criticize him for this lol

How on Earth does that make it alright?!

Many black folks would take offense to the use of that word, as would people of
other races. Almost everyone is aware of the history behind that word.

As a black person, why would you find the use of this slur acceptable?
Assuming you're African-American, do you not give a damn about what
your ancestors went through?

It being a racial joke does not make it any less racist.

Also, racist jokes don't automatically make someone racist. Now I have no context for this, maybe he's making racist jokes all the time, in which case he would probably be racist, but if it's a one off thing like this, I give him the benefit of the doubt. Like I said before, it's stupid, but not vile.

Racial jokes aren't inherently racist?

Why... does it matter when he said it?

DMeister, you are not this daft.

He's a kid. Kid's are prone to saying stupid shit and finding offensive things funny. It would explain why my 10 year old cousins has an obsession with watching R Rated films and saying the F word while his mom isn't around.

People grow up, mature, and get life experiences. If you are going to belittle the guy for being an early or pre teenager and try to hold him up to some moral coda, than you should really reassess what you expect out of people. It's unreasonable to try and make this into a race issue. He's a kid being a kid, yeah its stupid and racist, but kids have done and said much worse things to me.

As long as there is a taboo associated with the n-word, the immature and politically incorrect nature of youth will abuse it.

Pretty much this.

That's what people are saying. Probably was raised that way.

Or maybe he's one of those non-black people that thinks he needs to use it to be more 'black'

Ironically, I found this sentence right here to be more racist than anything Justin said in that video. :/

Don't waste your time. Blacks in this country have Stockholm syndrome to their oppression and its history.

I don't appreciate how that joke was his transition away from Father's Day

I'm guessing the "Father's Day" line was apart of another racist joke not shown in the video (i.e. something making fun a negative stereotype involving black people and their fathers).

Anyways, Bieber is garbage. See, the thing is, maybe I'd forgive him for this if he publicly apologized for it and spent the last few years cultivating a good image for himself, but.....he really hasn't. Judging by the recent news about him he seems like he's pretty much a straight garbage-tier person and he's gotten worse, so this clip only reinforces that negative opinion.

Racial jokes aren't inherently racist?

Nope. They are just jokes..usually playing off stereotypes

What I find offensive is people smearing this kid as racist because he told a joke

Really? because Bieber also said "Father's Day" in response to "what is black people's least favorite holiday?" :/

in addition to saying the n word 5 times :/

Wasn't referring to the joke itself. I was talking about the fact that you said you were black and found it funny.

Cos I can appreciate an off-color joke. I'm just tired of the PC police which gets so outraged over ridiculous things like this while ignoring real institutional racism.

How is "what sound does a chainsaw make? nigger nigger nigger nigger" a stereotype?

I said "usually".

Nah, he was just telling it to be funny because of the racist shock value.

Given that Justin Beiber's mother had him when she was a teenager, I wouldn't be surprised if she wasn't super prepared and equipped for properly raising a child not to be a douchebag.

So his joke was blacks are afraid of chainsaws because it basically sounds like run nigger run. So what situation would a black person be in where they're being told run nigger run? Blacks throughout the history of the US have been terrorized and killed so lets not criticize him for that joke. More than likely Bieber sees himself above blacks and sees them as inferior but he uses blacks to validate his self. I'm not mad at Bieber because it doesn't surprise me.

People have called me "Sand _____", Carpet bomber, Dirt face - I could make the list go on forever. I'm Desi, I'm Muslim - and it happens all the time. I think I can safely say, that we've been the most hated nationality / race / religion for a good ten years running now ;)- and in that time, I've learned one thing:

Being outraged at racist comments only gives the offensive terminology infamy and pertinence. I laugh it off, because no words can truly define or ill-define me. I'm not African American, but I don't think it takes a genius to see that the word itself is engraved in pop culture.

Some of you guys are overreacting, this kid has done some awful things- out of all the fucked up things he's done; we use THIS as the line in the sand?

It isn't. This Cloudy person is talking out of his ass and clearly has no idea as to
the significance of the slur.

Or maybe I've actually experienced real racism so I know it when I see it? I've only been called a nigger to my face once and I'll never forget it.

I'm just having a hard time pumping up my outrage meter at jokes I've heard many times from other black folks. There's also a joke about black men and pizza (look it up) which I first heard from black folks. It's funny while being racial and stereotypical but I wouldn't call a white person a racist just for telling or laughing at it..

Let me offer context ya'll.

Beiber being a racist fool, fucked up. No arguements.

DMeisterJ mocking Beiber being a racist fool by making a racist justification? Fucked up as well.
