Justin Bieber says N-word

What does a gay guy say to another gay guy going on vacation?

Hey, can I help pack your shit?

I AM NOW A HOMOPHOBE BIGOT IN GAF'S EYES.

I had to Google that joke, I honestly didn't know any gay jokes off the top of my head. Hm.

Instantly made me think of this:
cruisemain_1025420a.jpg

But seriously I get what you're saying, GAF has called me racist for speaking up against religious extremists that behead little girls for going to school. Sorry GAF, I'm still against that btw. When it comes to Bieber though, I have zero sympathy for that guy. In a recent interview he said only he was responsible for his success and that he doesn't owe anything to Usher. How disrespectful and ungrateful can one person be? Bieber seems to keep pushing the limits.

If he did not have a string of disgraceful, highly-publicized acts behind him (each with their own GAF thread, even), do you think people would be less likely to assume the worst about him?

Also, is "racist" supposed to be a word reserved only for the quintessential southern plantation slave driver? Hyperbole, but I often get the feeling that people take awkward, defensive stances on stuff only because they feel that words like "racist", "rapist", "sexist" etc. are "too strong" of words.
I honestly don't know much about Bieber's past. Off the top of my head I can only remember the stories where he was speeding in his car in his neighborhood and the one where he fought a paparazzi or something. That said I don't think it matters much unless he has a history of racially offensive behavior after this video was taken. There's plenty of assholes out there, some aren't racially insensitive assholes.

I'll need context on that one. I can't believe people called you racist because of that. Well, technically I can believe it, I just want to see it with my own eyes.

Damn, he really cut Usher down.

With a chainsaw.

A metaphorical chainsaw.

But he wishes it was a real one, that filthy racist.

My point is that his ongoing series of exploits in being a shithead is probably what's making people jump to further cement his status as a shithead (even when it's past material that's been dug up), not some liberal cult of judgment on GAF.

As sad as this sounds, this sort of mentality is prevalent everywhere. It's sad, but it's reality. Racism at some level (being Pakistani and Muslim) exists whether outwardly stated or not.

In any case, Justin looks really young in the video, and despite the myriad of "Fuck Beiber" posts that are going to come raining down, I'd like to think he's 'just a kid'. Kid's say stupid things, kid's behave in dumb ways, and kid's are prone to being jackasses.

The following years would catapult his career and put him squarely in the same rooms as Usher, Kanye West, and plenty of other prolific, talented, and famous African Americans. I would hope, atleast by this point, the kid has wised up and broadened his views on race.

In any case, he's a kid, and kid's say dumb things. Let's not tear him down for this. There's are plenty of other reasons to criticize him, but using this as ammo, an antiquated video of a boy not yet into the realm of stardom, is just plain reaching.

(Also I am assuming this is Justin pre-his famous years)
I do think this is fair, even though the outrage brigade will condemn him for life for this.

And I don't like Bieber. I would love to call him an awful human being, and maybe he still is, but I don't think this one thing is proof of that. Its a bit different than somebody like Jeremy Clarkson saying it, for example. Kids are ignorant and dumb. But they can learn. I'm sure many of us are not the same people we used to be at his age.

I don't really care about what stupid teenagers without a clue could say, because well, that's what they do. Stupid things.

What next ? A video of any famous people throwing a cat out of a window when they were 10 ? Bullying some girlyboy at scholl ? The horrible monsters...

Exactly. If he's doing this at 20 years old, that actually means something. He's supposed to be better than that and know better than that. But when he's just a dumb kid? He's a dumb kid! If everyone was a terrible human being for saying awful things in their teenage years, there wouldn't be a good person on earth, let alone in this shitshow of a thread.

This sort of shock humour really wasn't common in high school in the US? I find that hard to believe, especially among teenage boys.

It's pretty common in the UK, and the only way it works if no subject is taboo. There's even a whole website dedicated to them.

http://www.sickipedia.org

They usually all play off some sort of stereotype, and most of them are usually shit, but unless there's malice behind them being used I don't think it's an issue for people saying them.

I am no fan of Bieber but this is hardly on the level of that twat basketball team owner. It's a kid saying something you hope he will look back on in later life and be utterly mortified. The twat.

Ah..the "run nigger" joke. Haven't heard that shit since elementary school decades ago. Recall someone losing a tooth while telling that joke (nice one, Chaka). I mean..fuck him, but I thought it be some next level shit..like the bucket of shit joke.

he young tho

Anyone mind telling me where a young kid might learn this stuff from?
Now THIS is the shit that gets my attention..I'm sure there's some folks that can defend and explain it away, though..

DMeister, you are not this daft.

He's a kid. Kid's are prone to saying stupid shit and finding offensive things funny. It would explain why my 10 year old cousins has an obsession with watching R Rated films and saying the F word while his mom isn't around.

People grow up, mature, and get life experiences. If you are going to belittle the guy for being an early or pre teenager and try to hold him up to some moral coda, than you should really reassess what you expect out of people. It's unreasonable to try and make this into a race issue. He's a kid being a kid, yeah its stupid and racist, but kids have done and said much worse things to me.

As long as there is a taboo associated with the n-word, the immature and politically incorrect nature of youth will abuse it.

Kids say stupid things. One would hope he still would slap his young self.

I'm curious what the joke was at the beginning.

It's just a joke.
When I wa young, My friends and I would say
would tell each other some of the most fucked up, sterotypicsl racist jokes , trying to up one another.

"Wow that one is really fucked up...."

I'm not a racist .

jesus gaf, he's still got the lesbian woman haircut and is obviously 14 years old.

it's not acceptable to talk like that etc etc but again. 14 years old.

EDIT:

well.... he's a lot older here.

There's a statue of limitations on being racist?
Well, if 20 years is the statute of limitations on slamming a woman against a wall and attempting to throw her down the stairs, then Bieber should be fine if he lays low for a couple more years. But I doubt that means he will somehow stop being a prejudiced bigot somewhere down the line.

PLEASE let this be his downfall. PLEASE.

And considering the context of his racist joke, I'm almost positive that I know the set-up for the "Father's Day" punch line.
What is a black kid's least favorite holiday?

Similar to the Sterling situation, surely the world isn't shocked that this spoiled, rowdy, destructive, vapid, hedonistic manchild said some naughty words in private?

I'm not really surprised to see that he's a jerk with a heart of jerk.. My opinion of him had already bottomed out.

this seems pretty old.

I can tell by that haircut.

Now that he wants to be cool he hangs out will lil fizz or whatever that fools name is. Do I think the guy is actually racist? no. Still, this is a bad look,

You say that like bullying and throwing cats out of windows is a normal thing for a 10 year old to do.

is everyone here saying they have never told a racist jokes against white/latinos/mexicans/asians in their life?

Cuz i'm gonna call casting stone on that shit.

just cuz if u told a mexican joke and not have a derogatory word in it does not mean that it's not racist.

I am not outraged, but I will laugh when the house of bieber falls. Him and Macklemore on the "I am sorry you are offended" tour 2015

Let me guess, you're white? Not all of us find racism hilarious.

Charlamange said it best. The word to describe somebody doing something stupid and ignorant is being a Beiber. The B-word. No longer the N-word.

I'm still shocked how there so many examples of famous white people saying "Nigger" and being destroyed for it and yet it still happens every time.

Then again, it was just a racist joke. It's not like he had a Cliven Bundy-esque monologue. I wonder how this is going to go down. Will the Bieber fangirl tweeters give us the biggest collection of racist tweets so far?

Things like Sickipedia make me wonder about the joke. I have heard more offensive jokes than I can count, and they aren't told out of malice - they're told because they're offensive. They're "LOL damn, that's a fucked up joke" jokes.

As for the picture of the spray paint, is that supposed to be a monkey or an extremely offensive picture of a black person? I can't tell. If it's the latter, then the intent is clear.

I have unfortunately heard that joke when I was around the same age. Peer pressure sucks and it makes teens say and do stupid things.

This guy, though. He's like that friend you had in high school who never realized that it's not right to do shit like that and still acts like an asshat. No sympath for Biebs and I hope it blows up.

hahaha I've never actually heard that joke before and I've heard alot of them. It's actually pretty funny.

And whatever, he was being recorded saying a racist joke around some friends. There's other stuff to hate him for, but this one ranks pretty low for me.

Except in the video his friend is begging him not to say it.

Is that his mom at the end of the video?

Was that an older woman at the end of the video? Maybe his mother?
No idea but she sounds pretty bad.

Kid is dumb and this whole fame thing isn't doing him any favors. It's just sad.

As for whether it's wrong or not, obviously it's not right. Should he be crucified for it? Probably not. Everyone has pulled out a racist/stupid/dumb joke in private before. Doesn't necessarily mean you're racist. Still doesn't make it cool but this isn't something worth getting mad over.

Yeah he was a kid but did he grow out of it?

Didn't catch that at all. That's pretty stupid and inconsiderate on his end. He's so freaking smug it hurts.

Edit: I have no idea how I overlooked that while watching the first time. It sounds as if his Mother is encouraging him which is just as disgusting.
