Same, but it's going to take a long long time until someone emulates PS3

Don't a lot of people play games like that? I still don't understand what's so special about her.
The first time I played it, I would've agreed with you, I had lots of trouble with it and basically healed my way through damage because I stood in the corner where the webs are and spammed soul arrow - but now it's one of the easiest to me if you stick close. The danger is more at mid range where the webs, fire and AoE can all get you, close up all you have to do is block then attack and run from the AoE. Go melee next time you'll seeWTH LOL!
She just put on an absolute spider killing clinic. I think it's the hardest boss in the game if you don't use ranged attacks, it reminds me of 4 Kings a bit because of the intensity. Just a great performance to figure out so much about the spider and beat it in two shots the hard way. This is one of the positives of self restrictions in games, because this fight could have just been hide at the side and beat it with arrows.

What's next? Shuffleboard?
I dont get.
Unless you've already played a game, how are you not going in "blind"? The first time i played Demons Souls i was playing it "blind", same for everyone else. We all had to piece together the plot, what to do, where to go.
So what makes this so special?

I'm getting increasing annoyed with the shitty translation that she is using.
Why is she playing the Asian version, anyway? I haven't seen any of her previous playthroughs and skipped ahead a bit in this one. I'll probably go back and watch her archives, but I'm curious.
Will there be an episode today?
I'm longing for some Demon's!
Kay Plays Demon's Souls, Episode 19: World 2-2
In today's episode we find that:
- Supressed issues are not a good thing.
- Editing.
- Lots of editing.
- Suicidal thoughts of Treasure
- Land of upgrade.
I did the exact same thing the other day vs those 2 black phantoms, it's been a while so I forget what they drop. But that whole lizard/BP trap is really cruel!
I hate the Bladestone upgrade path. Biggest bullshit in the Souls series.
Is it wrong that I think Demon's might still be the best looking Souls game?
Man, every different archstone zone has such a distinct character in this game..
Not cobbled together environments like in Dark 2... but very cohesive, yet uniquely structured areas following each other.
Demon's is so freaking good.

Huh?
It is the only truth.... btw Demon's is the best game too.Is it wrong that I think Demon's might still be the best looking Souls game?
Nexus and World Tendencies were what made Demon's Souls the best.Demon's Souls is so good. I am glad they did away with world tendency though. Shit is annoying.
Lots of people play knowing things like to get the Crescent Falchion, or the more obvious thing being the Drake Sword in DS1.Blind means like everybody else played Demon's Souls?
I got these for the Platinum but they help on the first playthrough? I mean... I used a shit sword and a good bow my first playthrough.Lots of people play knowing things like to get the Crescent Falchion, or the more obvious thing being the Drake Sword in DS1.

.
I used the wiki for Platinum but I needed one more NG+ playthrough because my first one was blind.Only for like the first day players which I'm guessing wasn't a lot. I remember getting the game sometime in December of 2010, but the wiki was already fleshed out by then and I sucked so bad that I ended up resorting to it and eventually got the platinum thanks to it which led me to being prepared for a blind Dark Souls playthrough when it first came out.

I think WT is a badass idea, badly implemented.
The world getting darker and meaner according to the actions you perform? That's a cool idea.

1) Excellent detective skills learning about the world that she's in from the few tidbits that are doled out in item descriptions and character conversations. With her powers of deduction she discovers secrets that most people completely miss even after their second and third playthroughs like finding out Gwynevere's true nature in Dark Souls: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JEZR...KbObhIGrVmRhxT
I would like to see even more drastic changes, if you kill npcs for example, stuff like the sky gets darker, light dies off, different, scarier enemies start spawning in unpredictable places.
Scary sounds, too, could be added as the tendency gets darker and darker (screams, or a deep crumbling sound, or whatever fits the setting).
In short, really make you feel like the world is going into mayhem.
Though i'm a Silent Hill fan, so that could be my point of reference.![]()

Demon's Souls is wonderful, but you just highlighted my two least favorite things about the game. The interconnected Metroidvania style world design of Dark Souls is far superior to the hub structure and WT just sucks.
OOo! Great stuff. I'd love to see that..
Call me a masochist, but I was thinking today.. It doesn't make much sense that items are kept while souls are lost.. Why not make picked up items in the last life stay with the bloodstain? If unable to retrieve, you'd of course loose those souls, but how about this.. the items are returned to where you picked them up from rather than just disappearing.
That would prevent suicide running for items.
It would also add a heck of a lot more importance, power, and respect for the homeward spell, and would give good reason, a serious choice between items or souls, when using the Nexial binding / Dark Sign.. I mean, who the heck would ever use those anyway as they are?
Nexus and World Tendencies were what made Demon's Souls the best.
