Clearly.... A lot of people, don't be jaded he is polled in the top 5 for a reason, can't have ryu without ken and on top that ken has gone through a very positive changes, his movesets now looks amazing and fits his character

SFIV announcer was pretty bad. Should have gotten the SFA3 announcer, but SF5 seems decent (sounds like CvS2).
Sadly don't think he'd even be dlc, there are a ton of characters that have yet to return to SF5. I think the best hope is Maki makes it in..

Yeah this is my take on it too. Really pleased with what I've seen.
I looked away at the beginning and just seen the Sharp. Those TVs have some of the worst input lag of any on the market.
Then I rewound and seen that they were actually playing on a monitor. Thank Christ.

He needs his Donkey Kick back.
I think Ryu and Ken will be the only shotos in the initial roster. I doubt we will see Sean, Sakura or Akuma. Akuma and Sakura are likely DLC characters down the line especially Akuma who I think would he one of the initial DLC characters.

It's not like it was in 3S, though. He just seems like he needs something more. He's so basic looking now.

I'm not a fan of this new hit animation thing they have going on.
Just give Ryu back his Jodan Sokuto Geri (his Donkey Kick) & I'm happy.

What does that bring to the table mechanically?
IGN did a Rewind Theater for the Ken trailer. They got the same guy who did the previous SFV trailers by himself this time (the one who actually knows his shit).
It would open up the potential for some wall bounce-based combos as far as Ryu goes, as well as enabling you to create some more distance between you & the enemy outside of the Hadouken.

That's because he got his main back. Ken's his boy, man.
Not to mention they could change it's properties from 3S, make it do different things. Not sure if it's really what he needs, but it's silly he's missing it.

Exactly, it's one of Ryu's most underutilized moves when it comes to the Street Fighter games Ryu has been in. Though the last few crossovers have been better about adding the Jodan Sokuto Geri than the mainline Street Fighter games (see MvC3/UMvC3, SFxT, & Smash 4).
Alpha Ken, and Mugen Holy Ken still tops for me

Well, playing Street Fighter your whole life helps you out. He's been going to any place where he can get his hands on SFV (he has quite an experience with the game). Plus, he's playing as Ken.
