Untitled 01: Good stuff. Like a jazz rap take on a 90s RZA beat
Untitled 02: Sooooooooo good. Sounds like 6God Drake. The beat is kinda reminiscent of the "new Toronto" sound as well, even with the jazz layer on top of it.
Untitled 03: Not as good as the live version, but still bouncy as hell, and that panning flute or whatever sounds great.
Untitled 04: It's cool. Even short EPs like this one need to breathe a bit
Untitled 05: Thick, nighttime driving jazz rap. Busy production and all sorts of vocal styles on this one.
Untitled 06: 60s/70s lounge feel. Unexpected twist on Kendrick recent sound, but it works, and Cee Lo fits right in.
Untitled 07: Whewwww. That first section is infectious and I wish it was longer. We need more YAWK YAWK Kendrick. I'm definitely going to cut the last section out to make an alternate version of this, but it fits with the "riffing session" vibe of the EP.
Untitled 08: WE WANT THE FUNK!
Pretty good project.
02 is my favorite.
