My take on it is that it goes from nicely clear and crisp to a washed out look in 3 seconds.
Kind of pointless to make an animated PNG comparison out of YouTube footage, but here it is, anyways. From nicely clear and crisp to a washed out look in 3 seconds.

from just sharp to atmospheric and immersive. Not washed out.

I know that feeling, and not even sure about the shipping on the 29th :/ The suspense is killing me, I'm too old for this shit.OMG, to think I own this game right now and can't play it yet!

Everything is debatable. If that's not the case then the terrorists have won.I just can't comprehend this, the whole background looks like a load of untextured blocks without the effects. This isn't even debatable.

That's great, I specifically noted how nice the track was while watching. It has a real Chaos Theory Amon Tobin funk to it.
It's entirely possible to make a fantastic-looking game WITHOUT the use of such cheap post processing effects. It of course takes talent, which these guys don't seem to have. I've never been a fan of the Killzone visual style, to be honest.Let me introduce you to DoF and blur. It looks so much better post processed.

Post processed looks colorless, almost black-and-white. It's also hazy/fuzzy, thus covering a lot of crisp details, and then there's them lens flares which always annoy me. I don't mind the Depth Of Field, in this case.

In the old gif, the raindrops don't actually do anything to the ground and it looks thicker for some reason. Notice how the rain reacts with the ground.

Yeah, on second thought, perhaps that was a bit uncalled for.I can understand that you don't care for the KZ aesthetic, but to say they lack talent seems baseless.

I'm picking SF up on Launch, but that trailer left me feeling cold. I dunno... after the shittastic stories of KZ2 and KZ3, it's hard to imagine that GG actually wrote something good. The trailer didn't impress me in that regard.
I'm sure the game will look pretty and play well. I just wish that there's a great story to go along with that.
When KZ2 came out, it demolished any other console game graphically. Honestly, it still looks better than most of them

I can't even... just wha... fuck.
Anyone else really into the music of the tech trailer? That soundtrack seems actually promising, and boy is a decent soundtrack important to me.
