Kojima: You have to keep in mind that Solid Snake is not a real human. [As in, within the story universe, Solid Snake is a genetically modified clone.] On the other hand, Big Boss is a real human being with true emotions. He can be more expressive than Solid Snake
I'm with the school of thought Kojima is like Lucas, the few story parts worth anything from his works were either not written by him or heavily edited because he is not quite good at it.

Both of you are just simply dumb if you actually think this. Kojima always acknowledges the power and benefit of collaborations with fellow writers and peers. Some of the greatest artists benefited from collaborations like Alfred Hitchcock and David Fincher who never write their own scripts and yet, made some of the most influential films of their generation.

The way i see it, Kojima fucked up by firing the dude, no doubt about that. However, it's genuinely unfair to take one side of the story even if the other side was not told yet. I'm still gonna take that story with a grain of salt.

It’s been a crazy ride and I’m a lot more excited about this game. At first it looked crazy with the plastic babies, crazy military men with super powers, and then an actual baby in a tube. Then it introduced an alien race? One you cannot exactly see. Then you had Sam and his journey with the baby. The concept seemed incredibly cryptic and we waited a super long time before finally seeing our hero do what he does in this world.
I find it fantastic that Hideo Kojima has given Death Stranding a soul, even it’s unclear in its origin. It stands out as a testament to science fiction and to superb video game production. I myself want to know more about these things one beings in the sky. These dark emerging creatures. In my mind it could either be some sorta plot that evolves around their arrival or something humans created. I think what we are all seeing with Death Stranding is something people witnessed in the 70’s with science fiction. A growing foundation of a journey that breaks all forms of logic and understanding of reality. Something that can be explained and expanded upon. Metal Gear Solid had this mold too. There was so much to explore in the universe because it built a timeline around characters crafting their own destiny. It’s a wonderful mix of being simple and also being complex.
