L.A.I.R was the E3 video real time?

Factor 5 created quite possibly the most stunning Gamecube games in existence. Graphics aren't what anyone should be concerned about.

Just b/c you lack comprehension doesn't mean he lied. I dare you to post the direct quote and own yourself, but the comments made last year used a key word, which many of us took note of last year, "gameplay."
Umm. I already posted a direct quote. He straight up told Morgan Webb that it was "absolutley" gameplay and that's what the games were going to look like.
As for owning oneself? YOU confirm everything I said in this thread right here :lol

lol at fishie and che, silly rabbits tell me when was the last time sony mislead its consumers?

everybody knows that the answer is never...... so let's cut the bs, this case's closed!

Are people here aware that in almost any case the frame rate is one of the last thing that gets adressed during game development? I've seen hundreds of early-in-development games in my carrier, and 80% of them had shitty frame rate which eventually turned out to be either good or perfect. One of the latest example is Bioshock. Shitty sub-20 frame rate when I saw it in Boston last March. Awesome rocksolid 30fps game at E3. Plus, better everything, from lighting to textures.

Just stop this craziness. Factor 5 will deliver. On the technical side at least.

gameplay, however, is something everybody following lair should be worried about--after the boring-as-shit star wars trio of games, I doubt lair will be anything other than eye candy

I was actually just wondering why they opted for CG instead of real-time for the trailer. I'm sure the game will look great once it's released.

On one of the radioOPM podcasts, one of the members briefly mentioned he visited Factor5 studios. It was a pre-E3 podcast, and they were speculating what games they will see at E3. He didn't mention anything about Lair or what he saw at the Factor5, but mentioned he thought they would be present at E3.

In a following podcast, discussing the dissappoinment of games shown at the Sony press conference, the same guy stated that he recently visited a studio to see a PS3 game. The game was running horrendously and the developer acknowledged it, stating that they didn't want to waste time fixing the game until they recieved final dev kits. All the gameplay mechanics and concepts were layed out and supposedly great/amazing, but the studio would not work on finalizing graphics and frame rate till final kits arrived. The OPM guy said the game didn't look great right now, but thought it would be in the future. I wonder if the game they were talking about was Lair.

TTP wins again. And so do Italian women.

That's right bitches!! Lets start asking MS employees questions about PS3 games and network structure!!

Got questions about a first party PS3 game in development at Sony? Contact Che who is working with MS on Forza 2

Got a question about PS3 Online?? Contact Major Nelso ASAP who worked on Xbox Live!

Both are easily available online too!
:lol :lol MS employees are really quick to comment, they talk and talk.

Apparently, L.A.I.R was real time. Gameplay = Panzer Dragoon with hundreds of dragons onscreen plus run-around-the-floor bits.

Absolutely gameplay. After that thread, it was hashed over a lot more, and he keeps referring to gameplay. Graphics != gameplay. By the same token, Morgan Webb never words the questions right. I look like Denzel Washington. It doesn't mean I look exactly like Denzel Washington. The wording is completely ambiguous. It's sloppy journalism. She should have asked him something like, "So, can we expect to have the final game look this good or better?" or something along those lines. She never pinned him down with the wording. That thread was like a week after E3. The KZ debate raged on for months. PEACE.
