Yes, I posted this once before. But how often do Jill Stein threads come up?! It was a lot of hard work! Don't judge me!

My respect for Bernie Sanders is starting to continually rise when I realize that almost everyone to the left of him is an anti-Western crank.

He actually has blatantly ignored her calls for the past few years. Stein has said as much when she tried reaching out to him to get him on the Green party ticket.

Pic of @DrJillStein at dinner w Putin, @realDonaldTrump pal Gen Mike Flynn in Moscow in Dec 2015 at RT anniv party

It was a celebration of the 10 year anniversary of Putin's propaganda vehicle, RT. So for those keeping score at home, chalk up another creepy connection to Putin for Trump and put Stein on the board.

There is also video of Stein from the trip.

And here is some bonus audio wherein the Green Parties VP Nominee says crazy shit:

Second hour: Ajamu Baraka on Palestine, Ukraine, and the state of the world. Ajamu Baraka agrees that the shootdown of Malaysian 17 is a suspected false flag

Is that Darth Vader in the back?

What do you say about the democratic candidate being a collaborator with Saudi Arabia and a contributor to the unrest in the Middle East? Forget that, look at that, someone having dinner with the president of Russia!

Everything. It has literally everything to do with Hilary Clinton, first it was Bernie and now it is Jill that needs to be executed by the Liberal Gestapo, we can't have any competition on the left of course! What if Donald Trump wins?

ELIMINATE ALL OPPOSITION AND CRITICISM

It's so transparant.

Hilary has dinners with Wall Street and it's 'plz where is da proof she corrupt mang', Jill Stein has a dinner with RT 'Russian conspiracy confirmed'.

Saudi Arabia is an ally to the United States. Russia isn't. And Hillary Clinton also isn't in that pic in the op.

edit: technically the U.S. and Russia have been allies since the fall of the soviet union but the relationship is strained at best. They do have diplomatic ties.

It's not just a dinner with the President of Russia, just that could be acceptable, in the right circumstances. It's attending an anniversary celebration of Putin's propaganda machine.

But hey, if the best retort you have for this type of behavior is to try to misdirect attention, I've seen that sort of thing before. That is what my 6 year old niece does when she gets caught with her hand in the cookie jar. It's not a good look for her and it's not a good look for you.

Jill Stein is less 'competition' and more something to laugh at while serious people take a break from working on serious things.

Also if you can't see the difference between dining with a very important constituent base that makes up a significant portion of the US economy and dining with the state propaganda mouthpiece of the US' perennial geo-political rival then you might need to re-evaluate things.

I'd agree and Jill Stein isn't my dream candidate either (nobody is). My criticism is on the clear hypocrisy which has been becoming worse the closer we get to election day. I know, I know that is how elections go but I'm afraid people are actually believing Hilary is a great candidate when she is not. At least according to the same standards they use when judging other candidates.

Saudi Arabia routinely gets skewered around here. I mean Jesus even Fox News gets critical of Saudi Arabia these days.

Putin actively funds anti-democracy movements and actively funds Neo-Nazi aligned political entities etc. So yes people cozying up with him should be a concern.

Flynn himself has become a mouthpiece for Russia as a frequent Guest on RT espousing how the US should be bending overbackwards to work with Russia.

Jill Stein isn't competent or important enough to be a part of any significant conspiracy, so we really don't have to worry about that. Gen. Flynn's relationship with Trump is more concerning.

Yes, reading Off-Topic with a fresh set of eyes might leave you to believe Clinton is some flawless champion of equal opportunity.

Pretty much. Someone has been spamming the internet the last few couple of weeks with smear and bullshit about Stein. Gee, I wonder who might that be.

Russia has a history of funding, directly or indirectly, fringe parties in Western democracies for the sole purpose of politically destabilizing its rivals in the west.

Saudi Arabia does not.

Not to mention that the money from Saudi sources was donated to Hillary Clinton's charity, not to Clinton herself or to any kind of political organization. This is a false comparison, and you should know better.

To be clear, I think Republican dark money funds a lot of anti-Hillary smears that get passed around on social media. It is a disconcerting experience to see liberal friends of mine unquestioningly circulate stuff about Hillary's top aide being in the Muslim Brotherhood.

Why would anybody want to smear Stein. She's a joke. You actually have to be important for people to consider wasting resources attacking you.

Uhh, Saudi Arabia has a history of funding terrorism. Saudi Arabia is a shitty US ally that we should ditch. Hell, I'd rather be friends with Iran than Saudi Arabia.

If you're thinking that we should cut ties with Saudi Arabia because they fund terrorist groups, then Iran is the last ally that you would want in the Middle East.

Jill Stein is a candidate, not a politician. Her flying to Moscow to celebrate the anniversary of a propagandistic news corporation is weird and seems pretty unnecessary. I'm saying this as one of the most pro-Stein people on Gaf who isn't voting for her.

Damage done by Shia terror cells isn't even in the same ballpark as what Saudi-aligned Islamists are doing in the Middle East. Saudi Arabia really has no business being our ally.

Because if Stein can take 4% of Clinton's votes in half a dozen important states trump will win.

Because she is delusional. She was talking about peace and human rights and international law in Russia right after Russia invaded Crimea. Russia violates all three! And is against US and Western interests.

Crap like that deserves to be mocked

Going to an event to celebrate the Russian propaganda machine known as RT and bashing "American Exceptionalism" the year after Russia invaded and annexed Ukrainian territory is foreign relations now?

Let's call this what this actually was: Jill Stein desperate for any kind of platform and feeling of importance.

Fucking Harambe is doing better than Jill Stein and if necromancy were a real thing he'd probably be doing even better. At the very least stuff like this and the WiFi signals nonsense will get help to get people off this crazy train. Hopefully it convinces them to do something productive with their time (that actually helps whatever cause they believe in) besides screaming Jill not Hill because they wanna be angry.

Stein has not once held any real political office. So there is no foreign relations meetings or anything like that. She is a private citizen.

Lets look at Jill Stein.

Supported Brexit.
Claims the US threatens Russia with Nuclear weapons and hostility
Wants to disband NATO
Basically wants to disband the Military down to National Guard levels.

She is as batshit insane as Trump and as much in the pocket of Putin

The difference is Obama doesn't appear on an anniversary dinner of the state's propaganda mouthpiece talking about human rights, peace and international law in a country that eschews them through its annexation of Crimea and its continued opposition to the liberal world order. Also he's actually a head of state.

Because if Stein can take 4% of Clinton's votes in half a dozen important states trump will win.

Better start smearing Harambe as well then I guess.

Another way of looking at that is that a lot of the time the reason people are disagreeing with the majority is that they hold dumb, poorly considered positions.

The problem with the far left is that they are so obsessed with overthrowing their "neoliberal" overlords that they completely lack self-awareness. You think that it is natural and obvious to oppose capitalism and the West, so you can't even being to understand how calling Jill Stein an incompetent clown due to her idiotic positions like pandering to anti-vaxx conspiracy theorists isn't "bullshit smears," but reality.
