As for the current Late Night mess, I have my own opinion but it'd be best for me to stay out of it...just thought I'd pass along the info about the Johnny Carson DVD set!
Do it.

And let them see you do it.

I'll just say I'm glad to see many here appreciate, like, and even love Chuck. He really is the best spy that the Nerd Herd can offer. There will never be another Chuck, never again. He and Sarah were great, always with their "Will they?/Won't they?" romantic subplots. For those of you that love them as much as I do, I strongly recommend the Chuck Season 2 Blu Ray set. WELL worth every penny. I asked for it for kwanza a few weeks ago and got it. Great stuff! It even includes great clips like when Chuck learns the Tango, or that one time Casey said, "Bartowski!" A lot of special guests were on there, like Scott Bakula. It even includes the episode where Chuck goes to the Valley.

It's $44.99 at Amazon. Sure a few places might have it, like, everywhere, but if you hate corporate greed than Amazon is your best bet.

Sure it's a bit pricey, but it's worth every cent!

As for the current late night mess, I've got my own opinion but I'll keep it to myself. Even though this is a thread dedicated to peoples opinions and conversation about the late night mess. Just thought I'd pass along that information about the Chuck Blu Ray set! :D

That time where Casey said "Bartowski" is def one of the most legendary moments in TV history. SOLD!

hahaha.. but Chuck sucks though.

I hope they do another sketch, because that one sucked. It was more focused on making fun of Larry King than the situation or the hosts themselves.

Oh the sketch sucked and featured no balls.

Seth Myers showed a picture of Conan and said "You don't need Cinemax any longer to watch someone get screwed."

Other than the Letterman impersonation Larry telling people to type "http://www" that skit was pretty worthless. I mean, it wasn't offensively bad, it just didn't have a point.

Wow. SNL was painfully bland. Par for the course for them, by now, but still.

I'd love to find that old "You got any gum?" Letterman skit they did, which was incredible.

I still quote that occasionally to this day. :lol

I'm pretty sure that was Norm's impersonation.

Conan’s ratings soar as NBC exit nears

‘Tonight’ host’s ratings up 50 percent Friday, beating Leno and Letterman

PASADENA, Calif. - Conan O'Brien's ratings are soaring as he nears a bitter exit from NBC's "Tonight Show," his ridicule of his network executives apparently resonating in a country filled with the unemployed.

His ratings Friday were 50 percent higher than they've been this season, and he beat CBS' David Letterman, according to a preliminary Nielsen Co. estimate based on large markets. In the 18- to 49-year-old demographic that NBC relies on to set advertising prices, O'Brien even beat Jay Leno's prime-time show.

Settlement talks continued Saturday on a deal that would let O'Brien leave NBC and restore Leno to the 11:35 p.m. time slot he occupied for 17 years through last spring.

O'Brien's ratings have been rising through the week, which was an extraordinary one in late-night television and saw O'Brien and Letterman hurling barbed remarks at Leno, and Leno firing back.

O'Brien's team sees the ratings as vindication. His manager, Gavin Polone, on Saturday compared it to when Leno, trailing Letterman in the ratings in the mid-1990s, drew attention for the memorable appearance of Hugh Grant after his arrest. Leno passed Letterman in popularity and never looked back.

"People who never watched Conan before are saying, 'I'll try it,'" Polone said. "Now they're saying, 'This is good, I'll stick with it.'"

I'm curious on the finalized deal. Conan might win big if he is able to finale something and strike when the iron is hot at a new home.

Can someone tell me what the schedule is like for Conan now? I used to watch him all the time but haven't in the last few years. What time is he on?

I wish Conan would have taken the 30 min. bump... I always liked his later time period on Late Night because it allowed him to do crazier things that Jay would have.

I loved stuff like Pimpbot, Masturbating Bear, Carl Oldy Olsen, etc...

I think Jay Leno is funny (as in safe joke funny), but Conan is much better and was even better when he was in Late Night.

In fact I'd say some of his best years were 1997-2001 they did all sorts of funny, crazy stuff when the show was more fringe - and he loved (and still does) making fun of himself.

I remember the skit called "Actual Items" which were a knockoff of Jay's headlines (funny stuff in real newspapers) and one funny one that showed a grocery store advertising eggs that said "Remember - there's a little bit of rooster sperm in every egg you eat." HAHA of course he said stuff like "you can't make these up" which of course they were LOL

This seems like a great place to live. The area is nice, the people are friendly. Very spacious and inviting. And that rent is right in the range of what I'm looking to spend. You aren't going to leno me in a year's time, are you?

I thought her old boyfriend would move out after we started seeing each other, but I think she was planning to leno me all along.

Mr. Obama's critics asserted that not enough of the previous administration's policies had been reversed, thus leaving the country in a state of leno.

Yeah, he should literally shoot the show in the basement of Fox while the studio is being built :lol

Have random cleaning people walking by ... keep it insanely low budget.

They could rotate from Max's second family basement and Andy's with his race car bed and mother constantly interrupting for sandwiches and punch.

They should still do 2-3 Web-shows while they're in transition.

Nice. Indian giver is probably kind of offensive, so I think Leno replacing it is great! Hail Speevy!

"We use your name as a pejorative now."

"You do?"

"Yeah, you know, as in: "He's a total Wally," or "I've got to take a Wally." That sort of thing."

I thinking of writing something to the fans as Jay Leno, like I am on team Coco.

You need to change his affiliation to "Comedian?" with a question mark at least.

Also, the fan photos are great :lol "I'm with Two-face" :lol :lol
