Could be why he backtracked so quickly.Yee operated out of san francisco. Young people voted (and vote a lot) for him in this city, or at least circled democrat for senate when they voted for obama.
As much as I hate this witch hunting shite, there is one thing I do actually agree with some of these people on.
I do believe, that violent / graphic media (note, not just games) does desensitize people (note, not children, everyone) to that imagery.
I say this based on my own observations and others, who for example didn't play violent games or watch violent movies as a kid.
I find those that did are far, far more open to the most graphic violence, where as those that did not can't stomach it aswell.
It's the one truth they use to propogate their agenda based lies.
There have been plenty of people in threads like these point out that they can't handle real life graphic violence. There's a world of difference between a violent game, a violent movie and real life violence. I can watch torture porn without flinching and play the most violent games out there without being bothered, but I can't real life graphic violence. I can't handle seeing things like broken bones, deep cuts etc. It just makes me feel very uneasy.

But that's different. That movie was about 'murica fuck yeah!
Except it wasn't. Not even close.
Yeah it was really about socialism.
I do sometimes wish that the most popular, best-selling, western-developed games didn't always have to utilize killing other humans as an important gameplay mechanic. Call of Duty, Assasin's Creed, Red Dead, Grand Theft Auto, Uncharted ( to an absurd degree), etc.
I love violence in entertainment. But I could never be a doctor, medic or anyone in the medical profession, because I can't stomach real life violence and gore. I get sickly/queezy
At least to me, violence in media is stylized and realistic at all to what it really looks like
I'm merely saying that to characterize ZDT as being a bombastic patriotic film is a complete and total misreading of the film.
In fact, I have to question whether anyone who says that about ZDT actually watched the film in the first place.
I should probably have said that I'm only reffering to being desensitized within media, not neccesarily real life violence.
When I say more open to graphic violence, again, I mean within media, not IRL.
Is it a bad thing to be desensitized to media violence?
Is it a bad thing to be desensitized to media violence?
That depends on alot of things, but I would say no, in general.
I wasn't really suggesting that it is a bad thing, simply something that does ring true, and is an argument used by these very people.
The best lies have an element of truth, and all that.
