The fact he seemed to die so fast after his diagnosis is a reminder of that "here today, gone tomorrow" state of reality.

Cherish every moment for what it is, friends. You do not when dissolution is in the cards.

I just woke up and read that.
I saw them last june, lemmy wasn't in a really good shape. He seemed tired.
Well, so long, mister Kilmister. Make some noise wherever you are, be sure you will be remembered and cherished down here.

Not especially surprising (he's been a wreck for some time), but sad to see an icon go. Never really liked their music, or his voice, but him being gone is a big deal of course. RIP.

All my favourite punk and metal bands all seem to love Motorhead. Without Lemmy, some of my favourite bands simply may not have existed. The man had a massive impact. RIP.

Rest in peace you wonderful bastard and thank you for everything.

Thanks for everything Lemmy, keep rocking, we'll try our best here.

Its one of those things in life that really sucks my family just found out right after thanksgiving that my grandpa had stage 4 terminal cancer and he is basically on his last days now cancer is a horrible disease that i wish would just go away.

RIP. A friend of mine is a huge fan. He just saw them live about two weeks ago so this is really shocking.

It son of those things in life that really sucks my family just found out right after thanksgiving that my grandpa had stage 4 terminal cancer and he is basically on his last days now cancer is a horrible disease that i wish would just go away.

All the best to you and your family!

Terribly sad news. I wasn't that into his style but I still liked a lot of his band's songs and he seemed like a really good guy.

Now comes the part where someone reveals some horrible dirt on him.

I still wish Dio had made it into that game. Ah well.

I blame Ozzy for that. As soon as he came on board Dio left. Though I'm not sure if it was because Dio was too stubborn to appear with him or if it's because Ozzy pushed for it. I mean even if they felt Tim Curry was a better fit for the villain I'm sure they could have given him another role. He didn't even have a song in the game.

From what I remember he was in fairly poor health for some time now, I can't say I was more than a very casual Motorhead fan but still a bummer.

Say hi to Dio. Rest in peace.

Everyone should read White Line Fever, I'm suprised he made it to 70 to be honest. I saw them live three times, they were amazing every time. We lost a legend.

We should all be playing the videogame he stars in.
No, not brutal legend.

Goddamn. I'm a huge fan of Motörhead. This is a hell of a blow.

A big under appreciated Motörhead song is Devil from the Bastards album. One of my absolute songs ever. That coda is so powerful.

Sorry to hear that, take care of yourself.

I remember being a kid watching Headbanger's Ball and how me and my brother would crank the TV every time the 'Eat the Rich' video came on.

How time flies, man. I have since lost my brother and all this does is bring back those memories. He was the one who got me into this kind of music in the first place.
