I already know I'm gonna catch shit for the title but oh well. Gotta have a sense of humor. It's nothing literal.

We are in the midst of a new generation, not only on consoles, but on PC as well. That's fucking exciting!! This is the best time to be a gamer. New consoles!!! New generation of graphic technologies on PCs!!! Why are we dogging each other out!!!

Honestly, it's not as fun as it used to be on here. The social media/Facebook/Twitter mentality of "I believe this and fuck everyone who thinks differently" has infested this community.We should be excited about the future of gaming. We should not give two fucks what someone else is going to game on. There is going to be a platform for everyone. Buy what you like. Don't worry about what other people like.

There are a lot of unanswered questions about the upcoming consoles but you know what? In like a month we will know all the answers. Game and chill.

I know this shit is gonna get buried in about 10 minutes but man... I just wanted to give this off my chest. If I pissed you if on here in they past, I'm sorry. I'm just as guilty as the next guy. I'll be better.

Nvidia held back tech for the last 5 years. Just made PS5 and Series X outdated

So I don't understand the issue here. PC hardware has always out powered consoles. If not immediately, then a year later. Whats the big shock here? Were people not expecting the RTX 3000 series to out perform consoles? Even then, don't developers focus on consoles first and then scale up to PC...

Anyone else kinda sad that new Nvidia GPU are much more powerful than PS5/XsX?

Well up until now i thought PS5 has monster specs with its 10tf GPU. Seeing how rtx 3080 has 30tf its kinda insane.Honestly i didnt even thought we'll break 20tf barrier in next 2 years.Even rtx 3070 with 20tf is a monster. Yeah i know it costs 700$ and building a gaming pc with 8c/16t cpu,Rtx...

Hey, you're alright by me OP. I will say some people are just argumentative little whiners looking to pick a fight, probably don't abuse their dicks enough to get their frustration out of their system.
 
We're in pretty good shape. The only thing we need is to step up with games discussions and official thread creation going into the new generation, to balance out news and console warring. You can help by volunteering for official thread creation and covering games that haven't gotten their own OTs yet.

Then don't go into those threads about tech talk? It's really not that hard. Heck, except for one or two posts I managed to avoid the PS5Hype - I mean, the next gen speculation and analysis thread and nearly all ssd flagellatio - ahem, speculation threads all this time and I feel just fine.

I agree that more game threads would be great. I even made a thread as a resource for people to find more info about games so that they could post them.

Here it is in case anyone is interested in helping make more threads about GAMES or the gaming related tech that interests them.

What I was trying to say, is that now you might understand how everyone felt back at the console reveals. This is what PC folk had to deal with. The only thing I can think of, is that maybe EviLore EviLore and friends could implement a thread hiding system. If there already isn't one that I just don't know about. I say hiding, because maybe you'd eventually want to see it. But personally, It doesn't bother me that much. Unless people are using it to platform war, then it's just juvenile.

I don't like either side, if you check my post history, I could care less about tech for both console or PC, it bores me to death. I'm not saying people shouldn't talk about tech and graphics, but maybe 2 or 3 threads about it but I don't want to see 10 fucking threads about Ray Tracing or SDD or something, something FLOPS.

Like I said, I get you, but that's just part of being part of a larger community. The only options that I can think of are to make it so we can hide threads. Or split gaming platform tech talk into it's own section. But I really don't know if we have enough traffic to do that atm and don't know if it would be a healthy move. Otherwise, it just wouldn't be fair to limit discussion that you personally don't think is interesting.
