Agreed - awesome character and one of the best comic-villains in the whole series. Hell, Gilgamesh (and his theme) are practically the only thing some people can remember from FFV.

Prediction: Lightning takes souls to this new world... which is somehow a reset of the current one and the ending is right back at the end of FFXIII - which was already a happy ending mind you, Toriyama is just dumb.
A few years after a game releases, it falls into the same category as older games, therefore it isn't fresh anymore. Plus Ashe was not made to be some time travelling stripper, nor did she get her own trilogy.

I didn't play the back half of FF13 or any of FF13-2, but it didn't strike me that Snow had the evenness of character or frankly the intellectual depth I would hope from someone getting into politics. Wait, is the City of Pleasure a city or a brothel?

It's already been confirmed that Lightning is Etro's successor. She essentially has taken her place as Fal'cie.
Well, there aren't any details about the location, and Jump previews are useless one page stuff advertisements, but it's almost certainly a city... possibly a city of brothels, but a city nonetheless! As far as politics go, the more accurate term would be viceroy or governor-general, which implies he was put in the position by a higher power to look after the city. I... just didn't figure that anyone would be asking these hard hitting questions though, so the details are lacking. I apologize!

The initial descriptions from Japanese fans with Jump said the suit had a host-feel to it. If you don't know, hosts are like Japanese pretty boys who wait on you in a club or bar. It's a bit like a maid cafe in a sense but with guys in suits being affectionate-ish to customers.
