I thought Dracula Untold was supposed to be the first film, but it looks like The Mummy, starring Tom Cruise will be the official beginning of the Universe.

I am interested in these 2. There should be a lovecraftian movie universe (Cloverfield??)

There is an anthology TV show based on his works that is in development though not much else is known about it.

A spinoff is not a cinematic universe wtf.
