I'm a huge fan of the PS3 version of Mod Nation Racers which, despite its load times, was a great next step for the kart racer.
Totally customizable karts and racers? Awesome.
The ability to re-create just about any good track from any other game? Awesome.
Emphasis on a healthy community of racers and content makers? Even more awesome.
This game, which I will only refer to as Little Big Karting, looks to fix one of my major gripes with MNR, which was its aesthetics. I hated the "look" of MNR, outside of the racers and karts, and its engine gave everything this bizarre otherworldly feel.
I'm also assuming that the rebranding means great music (a given) and a new shot at respectable load times? I guess I'm okay with that. Its just a shame they had to piggyback on another successful brand to give the MNR formula a second go.
