I shall call it the PS4 Tunnel of Doom.
Definitely 2.5". I believe they have even confirmed it, but even if they haven't that's the only thing that makes sense in a small console box. And you'll definitely be able to put an SSD in there (you can in the PS3), but depending on what interface they're using that might not give you the performance improvement you might expect.
Great looking machine. Totally giving me that PS2 successor vibe.
Yes, they removed the analog av out from the previous specs. Hdmi only.
So... Im screwed for sound?I had HDMI to TV for video, AV to Home Theatre System for sound

Don't know if it works for surround or for you, but I have all my HDMI plugs to my tv, and 1 optical out from my tv to my hi-fi set. You probably have some quality loss and i have now idea what that means for digital/analogue or surround, all i know is it sounds waaaaaaay better then from my tv speakers. Much less cables too, plus you don't have to switch between sources on you hi-fi set.
That usually means that whatever surround mix the game delivers gets downmixed to stereo before being passed on to your receiver. So if you have a nice surround setup you don't wanna do that, but yeah, it's obviously better than using the TV speakers.
There's a digital out. Is that not the one you're looking for?
And what's the aux for? I know i have to select aux on my hi-fi to get the sound from the tv>optical out>hi-fi
Is analogue out better in terms of sound quality compared to digital out? If like me you hardly know the difference then digital sounds more advanced, thus better.
The top/side vents on the PS4. Reminds me of the subtle cooling solutions in the new Macbooks.

The only things I'm missing are a power button, a power switch and the eject button.
Hmm, still can't figure out where the port for the hard drive is.
P.S. Go to the "most favored" list.
PS4 is on top.
No sign of the xbone.
