I can't even count how many hours I spent on this glorious multiplayer game. Sure, it had a decent single player part as well but this is not where RTCW shines, oh no.
Online playing was ummatched: accessible, refined, fast, lots of options, incredibly funny maps. There's a reason people are still playing the same fistful of maps after six years..because it's so damn good
Take just one map, Destruction, and throw in 32 players: the perfect recipe for online fun. I've played that map for six years, I know every nook and cranny, and yet people are still having fun. Take one map, Depot, and throw in 64 players: online mayhem, and even more fun.
No online game was able to give me the same amount of fun I've had with RTCW, and I've played a lot of games. Maybe, and just maybe Team Fortress 2 is coming close But let's see what it will be in six years and running, because RTCW is till there. I loved that game to death.
so, any other RTCW veterans out here?
