OK I just watched Terminator Salvation Director's Cut at a friends house (dont have a clue how he's already got it) . Never watched the movie before.
Maybe it was because I watched the movie with really low expectations, or maybe because I watched Terminator 3 not long ago (which was terrible compared to this). I thought it had all the good tools to make a good Terminator film, it had great action. I liked the half human half machine dude (who was the real hero of the movie). Kyle Reese's character was pretty good (liked how he used that shotgun
). Liked little additions like Arnold near the end and John Connor saying I'll be back :lol . Maybe they added extra scenes in the Director's Cut that made it much better (but I doubt it).
The only negatives for this movie I can say is John Connor wasnt that interesting. Also alot of the characters where not developed enough. Another reason why I think alot of people didnt like this is because everything was pure machine, people like to watch machines with damaged human skin (they looked so cool in the early Terminators), but obviously for the story they werent allowed to do that. Im not saying its an incredible film (not as good as the first 2 duh). But its was still pretty good.
