I'll play on my tv with a DS4 and just pretend I paid 30$ for the PS4 version of the game.

If the reviews are solid though, I might consider the PS4 version. I really wanted this to be awesome. Clearly PC is not the way to go though, and won't be for some time.

Man this makes me so angry. They knew and they still sold it instead of delaying the PC version. What a load of shit. Hope everyone on Steam refunds it. This practice is bullshit and needs to be stopped.

Mafia 2 looks cleaner. What the heck is going on with this game. Such a shame.
What the fuck did they expect? That statement should've come before the release, well in advance.

Really poor decision to release in this state instead of delaying for the fix if they do in fact remove the 30 fps lock. They would have dealt with some flack but a terrible first impression is much worse. Day one benchmarks can stick with a game forever.

It's doubly pathetic after they showed 60 FPS gameplay prior to release. Just reeks of them favoring a quick buck over being honest with customers.
Why not a statement BEFORE the game releases in certain regions?

Well they are already paying for it, Mafia 3 Steam reviews are probably ruined forever at this point because that's how Internet works.

EA did that because they caught a ton of shit for NFS Rivals having this exact issue on PC when it was released. It allowed you to unlock the frame rate, but the game logic speed doubled so it was unplayable. They eventually fixed it and didn't want to make that mistake again with the new NFS.
And we complaint to oblivion because PC was delayed.
I dont care about their release decisions, I do care about them not telling tho. I'm not able to get a refund and I regret it.
My bad tho, never preorder.

Huh, weird. I restarted and used it and it didn't work earlier. Now it does (without a restart). Wonder if maybe there's some sort of timer after removing the mobile authenticator maybe? Or they changed something on the back end.

Even if the game itself wasn't great, it was a great PC port. No idea why 2K wouldn't do something like that for Mafia 3.
