I even have tearing with G-Sync. It is distracting as fuck. The game is fun but it really takes me out of the game. I can't even remember the last game that has problem with G-Sync. Goddamn it.

Anyone able to recommend me a good reshade preset?
^ I recommend you no reshades, just lower AA and/or use downsampling.
This is weird, did you unlock framerate and disable ingame vsync? I have no tearing at all. Besides, make sure you select "use the maximum refresh rate available" (or something like that) in the NVCP, should be the last option in the global settings.
I tried this one which is what prompted me to come here and ask. While it certainly made things clearer, it also fucked up a lot of other stuff making it look generally worse (imo).
I think I'm gonna go with vanilla.
Any way to get a consistent 60fps in this? On a 970.
looking to see if there are any settings known to be huge performance hogs
Unfortunately I cannot change this setting because the game crashes everytime I try. Launcher setting won't affect the real in-game settings, though. From a technical point of view this game's a mess.AA on High as well.
Anyone have a go at the script hook app for the game?
In really tempted by the HUD toggle mod.
So reflection quality and volumetric lightning are huge performance dampeners, AA on High as well. The rest according to DF don't seem to have as much impact. The problem is even with these settings on Low, driving in heavily congested areas still messes with the framerate, drops to mid 40s at times.
So when are they gonna fix this game? Or do we have to wait 6 months like AC Unity and Batman Arkham Knight?
They are silent. Last thing they said that they will share Update info soon. That was last week. They probably wait until update is ready. They need to fix a lot of things.
Hell yeah, I played 2 hours the weekend after it was released. With the '60fps-patch'. Graphics were shit, FPS still sucked and it crashed 2 times in one hour....
Haven't touched it since. Luckily I pre-ordered Battlefield 1![]()

They are working hard. Season pass is coming, and content looks pretty strong.

Smoother, much, much smoother. Less Flickering, solid and stable Framerates in the upper 55 Frame per Second Range,...
You will probably see with your own eyes that a lot has changed with todays Update.
Looks fine, they fixed the disco sun. Night day night day night day.
That's really a nice patch. I got around 100 fps with GTX 1070. Well done! Graphics looks amazing now. A whole new game!
runs now wonderful on my pc (i7 6700k, GTX 1070, 16gb ram) glad i waited![]()
New patch impressions?
So skybox is fixed? What about the mirrors?
Really? Pics?
Ooooh boy this sounds promising!!
But I'd like to see impressions from people not using a 1070...
i5 4670K + GTX 970
Still not able to run at 60 FPS and 1080P not even on lowest settings, 100% cpu usage almost all the time.

Even though I'm at 50hz the game only runs at 60 or 30 fps unless I go windowed. But as there is no borderless windowed option that's not an option.
Those are my specs!
SSD or HDD?
Actually it does perform a little better for me on a i5-2500k/1070/16gb RAM/SSD, stays closer to 60fps than before but still get occasional drops, definitely much more playable than before.
Clock speed on your 2500k? I have one and I'm very worried about performance if I were to buy this.
2700K@5 ghz + GTX1080
1280x720 minimum settings
