Man at Arms - Sephiroth's Sword (Master blacksmith makes game weapons)

Him doing FFIX's Mage Masher would be nice, but he'd probably go insane trying to get the finish right and fuck it up like he did the Buster Sword

What the hell, that looks awfully small. I meant this instead of the tower in my post about Zidane's weapons.

Also, surprised people haven't bitched for him to do Ichigo's Tensa Zangetsu.

Would love to see him make Bravura, even though it's not a sword lol

He's made things aside from swords.

I love this series so much. Buster sword is the only one that wasn't fantastic and I admire they even attempted it in the first place.

While it was cool of him to make it for a shear sense of size and weight, the way he produced the blade cause it to have way too much flex. By drawing the sword out in that manner destroyed its stability. I'm a fan of his other works and he does professional production of swords so that they film well, but in this case the flex really showed. I think if he would have used a staggering method and forge welded the pieces together, and then drew it out, it would have really strengthened the end product, but this method takes a good chunk of time. I wouldn't consider him a master blacksmith, I would consider him a master of making movie grade prop swords. Actual example of forging a katana. I find his end product this time to be lacking the illusion that it is as strong as someone would suspect. And if anyone wants their fill of watching hot iron be hammered into a sword here you go.

Way to thin lol, it bends when swung. I realise it would have been much heavier, but they should still have used thicker steel, or high carbon.

People saying that it looks bad because it bends when somebody swings it haven't seen basically any sword in slow motion. Pretty sure they all do that so that they don't shatter. It's not going to stay perfectly still when it hits something, it needs to be flexible at least somewhat to make it through the impact of it hitting something. Now saying it's too thin I might understand. I felt like Chrom's Falchion was paper thin when it should have been a bit thicker.
