I think you should enjoy them but you might as well wait for the next book or two and then can marathon. As Battle Monkey said, it starts a little slow but has had nice developments. It's pretty good, really liking Ben's character development and a few other things I don't want to spoil. I'd say give it a go once book 8 comes out in August? Or if you read slow, you can probably start now as book 7 hits this month and is supposed to be a big plot development. But I digress in a manga thread :0

Oh, and I'd just like to say that not only is it an embarrassment, but its also ridiculous that Jiraiya's name hasn't been mentioned once when it involves Naruto. Of all the things for Kyuubi to bring up about loss and death and shit, he knew that the Sauce was the code word, and not a lick about Jiraiya, who actually is gone, was brought up. Tsk tsk.

I like that I've now got a conditioned RAGE response to even seeing the word "Tenryuubito" appear at this point.
Really good chapter. Loving how this history is playing out and how it's really tying together everything we've seen about Fishmen throughout the entire series to date.
I'm really curious where this whole arc is going to go once the flashback is over, though. I guess it really comes down to how Luffy interprets this story and reacts to it.

Finally, shits getting good. Even with this memory-that-never-existed filler, the chapters are a huge improvement from the last few weeks. I'm actually cheering Naruto on and pumped to see what he does next, something I haven't done in a whillle.

At first I thought the art style was pretty horrible too. But during the Marineford arc, where GAF was basically imploding over it's awesomeness, I decided to check it out and the story was SO GOOD. I then read the whole series over a weekend and it's now my favorite weekly shounen.Kagari said:

So either Aizen 3's ability is that he can possess people, or there's another strong attacker at play that may or may not be Aizen 3's accomplice. Almost wondering if Aizen 3 won't really be the bad guy and thinks Ichigo is the only one that can help him once he's strong enough. that's probably a reach though. In anycase, sure seems like Issuda or Ishida (never can remember anyone's name in this series) is possesed in that last panel. Chapter itself was kinda boring but the conclusion made up for it. Possession mystery and the fight between Ichigo and Aizen 2 should be entertaining.

Loved how Naruto pretty much has the fox on the palm of his hand, he just pulls him and gets up all on his face lol. Don't know what he plans on doing but at least he's confident. Though thinking about it, he doesn't have much to go against. It's basically Naruto and Bee vs Madara.

His powers are shinigami powers, how is he going to use them against these guys that fight in the real world with their real bodies? I guess getting his fullbring up to speed and mastering will be what matters here since his shinigami powers, as far as I understand, will be useless in this situation.

I'm actually looking forward to Naruto encountering the sauce now because I don't think it will go quite the way you all are saying. Will he bring him back to light and do that finger pack? sure, but I don't think he's going to gush all over him like he has the past multiple times. I think this time he appreciates the gravity of the situation and it's going to take a more grown up approach to reach Sasuke. I think it will be more of a man to man confrontation rather than Saucey I love you <3 please come back *faint* Today's chapter is what drives me to this conclusion. I sure hope he backs up the conviction he showed today.

Plus, it would give Big Mom a reason to go after Luffy if he was truly responsible for her losing her candy tributes.

I think the common theme that everyone fears is that Naruto indeed seems to have some kind of resolve when he's in front of everyone except Sauce...and we have no reason to believe it will be different this time. He had the same face he always does as soon as he came out of the flashback. That pussy face of realizing that Sauce has moved on. That's unfortunate.

Okay, there were a couple of things that were iffy there in this chapter, but they're minor so I'll gloss over them.
Conclusion of the Tsuki fight was lame but then again not really because none of us really expected a fight to go to the finish. We knew he'd have to retreat somehow.
Other than that, good chapter. Seeing more Ishida was a nice surprise and he looks like a boss. Definitely looks like we can be getting into a posession type of mystery here. I feel likie Aizen3 Could imitate personalities very well. That and the fact that we're finally gonna see some Ichigo vs. Ginjou and more training. That and we should finally see Ichigo, Chad, Inoue, and Ishida (even if possessed) together for the first time in this arc. Next chapter should be good, since this chapter was more of a set-up chapter. Also, Ichigo's training is going nice and fast.
Plan to read One Piece chapters soon. Looking forward to having 3 of those in a row. Should be good since the flashback started off great.

One Piece: Great chapter. I'm loving the history of Fishman Island and seeing how the Sun Pirates eventually divided and went their own separate ways. I'm almost dreading next week because we all know those asshole Tenryuubito are going to cause another tragedy.
