Renji is a joke. But actually, all of the Soul Society characters that aren't captains are pretty much no good. This arc really seems to be ready to get some characters not named Ichigo to train. Case in point: Even though its apparent Chad has become stronger than he was, he's still going to train some more.

And I must applaud Kubo for this: using a Timeskip to make the nakama try catch up to the ridiculously powerful protagonist instead of super-powering the protagonist and having him train even more after he was already the strongest. I'm glad the it seems Orihime and Chad did something during the 17 months.

Not bad. I love Skip Beat!, so I thought I should give a read to this too. The start is insane and funny in the way the 2 main characters interact with each other, just as I'd expect from Yoshiki Nakamura.
I've also learned about 3 more words that have perfect translations (translation are in the notes) that were left in untranslated (because japanese is so sugoi? even my copy of the 4th volume of March comes in like a Lion has some of them, like a "onegai shimasu", without notes to translate them though unfortunately).

It probably would, but this is basically the reason they didn't get an anime. They were afraid kid's would copy the crimes. Now that they actually have a copy cat of sorts and are on the news they would probably have some of the extreme parents not allowing their kids to read jump. But Shuujin seems to be the only one really affected by it.

After the spin he put on PCP though, I wouldn't be surprised if they could spin it in a way to allow them to get an anime from it. If they now change it in a way to be anti criminal like and it causes the manga to gain in popularity I don't see what would stop them from getting an anime, especially now that their worst fear has already happened.

Toriyama's Dragonball art style (which could ironically be considered his only style to some) is just one of those things that I can never grow out of or tired of. Agreed with the rest of your post. OP is a beast with it's panel direction and details (plus I actually really like the distinct and surreal way Oda makes his characters) and Kubo can get really damn sick with the character designs in Bleach. Naruto used to look good waaaay back, but lately, it just seems so... There with regards to characters and certain set pieces. I do love some of the landscapes Kishi would come up with though. Village Hidden in The Rain was great for that.

Also, since I didn't post it before, fuck yeah Soul Eater in top 10.

Just learn to except the inevitable. That what I have done. It made me pretty numb to the series as a whole now. I no longer care what happens to the characters; I just want to see how retarded Seo Kouji's writing can become before the end.

I have that exact same problem with my friends. No matter how amazing I try to tell them OP is, they refuse to read/watch it based on the one episode of the 4Kids dub they've seen, or heard of from other people. The art style is somewhat off-putting to a newcomer too, since it looks "kidish".... It's funny how much the style grew on me though once I actually gave it a chance.

If all goes as planned, the new scheduled release day of Kimi no Iru Machi and TWGOK is going to be Saturday or Sunday at the latest. The provider says we'll be getting raws in 15-17 hours.

Plus we're picking up Hayate no Gotoku and probably one other series. Preparations are still in the works on the unnamed one.
