Kodomo no Jikan (78 I think)
Man do I feel;_;horrible for Boin-sensei
And for whatever that's worth, there is no official word on the reason, and the rumors are either back pains, hand pains, or Dragon Quest.
And yeah, fuck that with Eiji just switching enemies like nothing and then have the readers eat it up.
Really if he makes her sexier I'd be disappointed because she had that plain jane thing going on and that's been ok in my book (& to be honest highly refreshing).
Goddamn it Negima has sucked assholes recently
I never noticed if you read Hayate or not, but if not, well.Strongest Man Kurosawa
Yep... that sure was an ending.
This is probably Fukumoto's most depressing work (though Seizon is comparable). While my life probably won't be as shitty as Kurosawa's, I can definitely relate. Whether it be in terms of inaction, luck with women, or any other daily life troubles, this manga really makes you empathize with the main character even if you can't relate at all.
This isn't some idealistic work where good things happen for the convenience of the plot. I mean some do, but it's rare. If this was any other manga, the whole plot would have changed once Kurosawa learns about it has strength and it would turn into him succesfully purusing a boxing career or something. But nope, for the most part, situations play out exactly how you would expect in reality; poorly. If something can go wrong, it WILL and if anything good comes out of it, it will be a short lived victory.
I need something happy to read now![]()
Though at least we finally saw Gajeel and Lily.
Bakuman 157:
They are really insulting the intelligence of Jump voters in this chapter. The fictional Jump readers only had 4 chapters to get used to the first Antagonist in Zombie Gun, and by simply introducing the "real antagonist" the votes increase that much and Reversi's drops to third? Unless the two protagonist in Reversi really sucked in chapter 4 and Giri introduced new bikes again it's just too big of a shift to be taken seriously.
This island is going to turn out to be some sort of 'Jurassic Park' created for Real Miina by her crazy "I'm rich as fuck, so I can" Grandfather, in her loving memory.
Possibly, but the islands been in the making long preceding her birth if what Yarai said about the computer is to be believed. This island is going to turn out to be some sort of 'Jurassic Park' created for Real Miina by her crazy "I'm rich as fuck, so I can" Grandfather, in her loving memory.
What if the current "real" Miina is a clone... :OPossibly, but the islands been in the making long preceding her birth if what Yarai said about the computer is to be believed.

^ So how the plane accident account into all that?
The pilot's in on it. He's part of a rival organisation that knows the island exists. The plane was probably "brought down" as attempt as some dubious kidnapping plot. It didn't crash.^ So how the plane accident account into all that?
Rival organization set out to expose the island by placing the girl directly in harms way. Duh.
Really though, it's probably going to be along the lines that it's related to her family in some manner. Whether or not that whole deal means anything significant beyond "Yup, we made this shit" is another matter entirely.
He'll carry on the torch when Medaka gives it up. I can't wait.AzureJericho said:So apparently Kumagawa's getting his own manga. Kumagawa Box meme redeemed? :lol
Fairy Tail
I'm sorry but that final panel had me laughing there for probably a minute. Phew.
Hopefully nothing happens in the camp. I really want them to get to the games just as it is right now. I just like game/olympic stuff in general. Plus, no matter how silly the final game will end, the bad taste will be contained in that final game, which is pretty neat.
Eh, the "real antagonist's" entrance was probably just REALLY flashy and that's why it got so many votes.
Bakuman
I'm going to defend the approach here, and remind everyone of the recent Bleach fuck up. The series was primed to take a new arc with different powers and such, and it was so dull that I'm pretty sure the mangaka got cold feet and gave us the fanservice that we're getting now.
I mean seriously, Ichigo's skeleton suit and powers looked so... meh.
Also on Dragonball. Gohan was made to be the protagonist after the Cell Saga, but it was a massive letdown. Series went back with Goku as the protagonist after a few chapters.
It happens all the time folks, even on TV series. Still you guys are right, done well, it's amazing, but most of the time it just falls flat.
We saw the page of the "real antagonist's" entrance. Now it was only one page and it's impossible to know how flashy the entire chapter was, but based off of that and the comments from Saiko and Shujin it wasn't impressive, at least not enough for that kind of voter change.
there isn't any indication that jimbei has been to the new world. i don't think it was indicated that fisher tiger went there. pretty much all the shichibukai hang out on the grand line and take out up and coming pirates that become threats. One Piece
I know I'm late in the discussion but I think Jimbe will join simply because he's probably already been to the New World and knows his way around there. The Straw Hats are always oblivious as to what's ahead just gaining a little info about what's coming up next (which serves the purpose of letting us, the readers understand what's happening)
We can't have anyone who's already been to several islands in the New World joining which I would imagine a Schikibukai has done.

Nisekoi 4
It makes me physically ill to read this with how cliche the misunderstandings are.
I liked the Fullbring outfit. And the sword, while not as awesome as Ichigo's bankai form, looked miles better than the warclub.
I think Kubo wussed out a bit too early.

You're talking about "mistakes" that got corrected after the mangakas tried them out for a lengthy number of chapters/entire arcs and realized it wasn't working. In the case of Bakuman we are dealing with only 4 chapters for two brand new series. Think about that for a minute. A new villain character is introduced and he/she has only 3 chapters to prove they are interesting otherwise they are killed off in the 4th. Apply that to Bleach or Dragon ball and think about how those series would have ended up. Freeza and Cell wouldn't have made it past their intros.
