I knew he would win, but I wasn't expecting such a curb-stomp...damn. I was hoping the 9th seat would provide more of a challenge, but I guess that's a job for the higher seats. All in all I still haven't really enjoyed this arc that much. I just didn't care for the rigged aspect of the match, as I feel it didn't really add anything to the Shokugeki. Also how it was resolved wasn't to my liking.

With that said, boy did I really enjoy that last page. I just love me some badass Soma. Also Tosh is a genius. He won't give the fans a stripped Rindou foodgasm. She's too popular to let loose now. But when it does come you better believe it will be glorious.

It's just a really solid manga imo Nothing revolutionary but it doesn't have major flaws.
Not the second coming at all but if you dig the adventure aspect of other action mangas it's a good read when you want something light.

I dunno I've seen at least two people speak positively about it! A lot of it specifically in regards to art, a few weeks(?) ago.

like OP it has a slow start.... maybe even slower then OP but I prefer it weekly more then OP right now

it isn't revolutionary like Kurita said but it is a well solid series

when it comes to current on going series ( including HXH and D.Gray Man lol ) it is in my top 10 maybe in the 5th or 6th spot

I really like Toriko because it has a great sense of adventure, and excellent world building. The world of Toriko is fascinating, and things just keep escalating. The sense of scale and wonder is insane, shit just keeps surprising me. And above all, the shit just becomes pure hype. The author really knows how to get me excited with the facts, figures, and feats of this crazy ass world and the organisms in it.

Yep, shit is about to get crazy. Can't believe moon bustin Don Slime isn't even close to his peak. The very nature of Don Slime far exceeded what I expected as well. But I don't see Don Slime taking Neo in this form, think his body will rot away before he can do real damage. I can't wait for the next chapter, should be so fucking hype . .
