One Piece break starts next week. HxH is back today.

You got both wrong!

Well I've never been so glad to be so wrong.

Does anyone know what's wrong with Oda exactly? Is it stress from over working himsellf nearly to death or some other health issues? I noticed since these breaks first began that they've been happening more and more frequently. The guy writes my favorite manga ever so I don't want the poor guy to work himself into the grave, but surely his editors have to see how over worked he is and hopefully are providing him with as much help as possible.

I know mangaka's have some of the most ridiclulous work schedules of almost any profession out there, so I can only imagine how much worse it must be for someone who's writing the most popullar manga in the country. All I can hope for is that he gets well soon.

Also in case there's a resurgence in Uwagaki interest now, I just want to say that the cover for the first volume gives an entirely wrong first impression. It's not really lewd in any way really. Just a really smartly written and cute love story.

I... I think I need next few chapters to be able to understand any of this stuff, but I'll try to.

That sphere dude gave me chills, but aside from that, not really sure how the calamities are relevant. Unless this is going to be Toriko style solving the leftovers of the new world before actually going there. The zombie thing is definitely the most important one, but if it's been in human possession for 50 years and they haven't done anything with it, it's probably a lost cause.
The fact this is Beyond's second attempt is a hell of a twist, but then Netero says he's not good enough, so that's that. It'll be a classic for Beyond to go and get destroyed again but it'll be more Togashi for the hunters to deal with Beyond on the spot and then go out properly.

If the ants are from the new world then um, please add them to the calamities list, thanks.

I don't know what's going on but it seems amazing.

This arc is going to be suuuper long (assuming Togashi ever finishes it). A whole continent to explore, and it'll probably be a while before they even leave the old world.
