Mob Psycho 100 79b

Was hoping it wouldn't be a cop out but I can deal with this. lol

I wouldn't be able to stand people like Nisekoi's Raku in real life.

Such an indecisive, wishy-washy guy that I wouldn't be uncomfortable calling a hypocrite as well. Stringing along all the girls like that, horrible. Just pick one already and let the others move on with their lives, you twat.

What isn't real doesn't exist. The real life people who is in Raku's circumstances would act more like Takahiro Aoyama.

It wasn't labeled properly though
Yeah I know, which is why I know about Aiko now. I was talking about in general. edit: oohhh it was a call out, not just an interjection in general. I misunderstood.

Assassination Classroom 115-124

Can't wait to know about the Director's background.

As i reflect on Punpun, i think about a lot of things. definitely was food for mind.

I don't know about you guys but what happened to Aiko at the end remains unjustified in most angles my irrational mind can think of. The attempted rape? Okay, I'm fine with that. the murder of Aiko's mom? believe it or not, contrary to what Asano claims, that scenario is more common than most people think. Asano was not breaking the mold. that was actually a bright point of the manga.

but Aiko in the end? fucking bullshit. A complete waste and the manga's biggest red mark. Did she commit suicide because she could no longer cope mentally? because of the pain killlers? or the guilt of murdering her own mother who wasnt really a mother to her anyways. w/e it was, it was never explored and Asano did poorly here. served no purpose. You want punpun to move forward? have him and her own up to their deeds and turn themselves in. take responsibility. In the end he still ran away to the very end. there was no need to sacrifice aiko. no need at all and it hurt the story for it. makes the ending utterly terrible.

Aiko was screwed over by Asano. pure and simple. Punpun didnt even get better, that fuck remains a miserable pile of broken memories and broken dreams.

I would comment more how decent the character development was but i felt it was well covered already. Also, punpun going dark after aiko nom incident dont sit well with me. he should have been suffering, not going all tough and pyscho all of a sudden.

As a lunatic, I say this with confidence. you're eithet born crazy or you're made crazy over time by extreme events. he had very few extreme events so I dont understand him. also, him protecting aiko was some serious bs. it was obvious she needed to go to a hospital yet he put concern on running away and protecting himself over the health of the one he claims his "fated person". his love for her i feel was not truly real.

I can't speak for every crazy, but if my wife was in need to see a hospital, Nothing would stop me from getting her the help she needs. her life is far more important than my own. jail time would be a most gracious offer if it meant the treatment for my beloved. I cant relate to punpun at all. I know it was aiko who committed murder but punpun is also guilty of assault... both would see jailtime at worst. but he ran away. they ran away. punpun a coward and a bastard to the very end. He should have taken initiative.

I dunno, maybe im too emotional or crazy or both. but that is how i feel. the ending really rubbed me the wrong way. but what i can take from oyasumi punpun is reinforcing my own values and my own crazy mindset...

...Or maybe i am overthinking this.

Nisekoi 158

This is going to be like Lucy and the football. Actually scratch that, this is going to be like that one Charlie Brown episode when Lucy pulls the football stunt in an actual game on the game-winning kick.

She committed suicide, from my perspective, to free Punpun. She could see that his entire person was warped around her, (and in a way, she too was warped around him). Between them, however, Aiko took the initiative to give the other a chance to live.

Think about it, either one of them could've killed themselves to free the other. But Aiko was the one to do so, and this is the burden Punpun will always have to bear for the rest of his life. Asano said in his interview that he didn't intend for the ending to be happy, and in a way, it isn't. Punpun's still carrying around a lot of weight, and it's only the presence of Sachi and the others that keeps him going.

That too but it just goes back to what I said because w/e the reason, it was never explored and was left unresolved in the manga. We will never know the truth of it. a real tragedy in the series.

I'm just putting my tin foil hat and I think she killed herself out of delirium. Not only was the wound infected, she was overdosing on painkillers. The high fever and threatening to kill Punpun was what made me think that. She even started crying while being insane in the situation. It kind of saddens me though that this might be false since she shoved her own panties in her mouth to prevent Punpun from hearing her cries. I still hate Asano for it and it should have been done differently. Reason why I say this is because Punpun would have continued on his journey with Asano's corpse until he left it with the kids by mistake and it was taken away by the car that was passing around. After that, he wanted to kill himself since he found no purpose left in life until the other chick coerced him to live. I'm probably really sour that Aiko died but this is one of those times where I'll stay put on my position, no matter the reasoning. Things should have worked out differently and Asano probably did it out of spite to his readers.

If she shot or stabbed herself or just jumped off a cliff, that would make sense. But you can't hang yourself in delirium, so I'm pretty sure she was aware of waht she was doing on some level.

Reason why I say this is because Punpun would have continued on his journey with Aiko's corpse until he left it with the kids by mistake and it was taken away by the car that was passing around.
That was intentional. He left the body with them, then went to the phone booth. To get the bag. Fell down. Realized how much of a fuckup he is. Then called the police If you look at that page again, you'll see the car is a Japanese ambulance.

That too but it just goes back to what I said because w/e the reason, it was never explored and was left unresolved in the manga. We will never know the truth of it. a real tragedy in the series.

In cases like these, it's best to find an interpretation you personally want to believe in, and I like to believe that Aiko died for Punpun's sake. Anything else would be too sad.

I see what you mean Haly, thing is when he called
he said he made a wrong call but I guess the operator picked up on it and sent someone just in case.

I guess I have to get over it, really wish Aiko and him could have had a happy ending without all the stuff they had to go through. Its like when I read Sundome and saw the ending, I knew it was coming but it was difficult to accept it. Why can't we have more happy endings like Love Hina! or neutral endings like the Shadow of the Colossus?

One Piece

Holy Shit, Rebecca is about to be useful.. Oh.... Nevermind

Bleach

Holy Shit, Orihime is about to be useful.. Oh.... Nevermind

I would like such optimism but as I know firsthand, Reality is not only cruel but completely uncaring at times. in times like this, one can only carry on despite everything that happened.

I'm with Haly on this one. I believe AIko sacrifice herself to free Punpun. She know their relationship is fucked up beyond repair, and she know she's going to die any minute. I think she kill herself because she don't want to burden Punpun any longer. Well obviously, this also happen because she don't really know Punpun. Their relationship is shallow. She think by killing herself, she'll free Punpun. We all know what happen. It burden him even more. For the ending, now that i think about it, i don't think it's a happy ending/bittersweet ending. Punpun is still broken Him being bird could possibly mean he regressed himself as a child to protect himself. He become a dependent person, no longer can he run on his own. More than that, his childhood friend no longer remember him, while he is one of the reason Punpun becoming like that. I also think the bird punpun is not reader perspective, but his childhood friend persective. He only know kid Punpun, that's why he see him as a bird

is attack on titan any good? after fairy tail, I'm wary of series that are overhyped.

The beginning arc is good. The current arc...eh, not so much. I still read it though.

Yea I don't see how anyone can read Punpun's ending and say it's a happy one. It's terrible. Life truly doesn't care one bit about his happiness (though to be fair he does a good job on fucking up so many things himself.)

Jitsu wa Watashi wa 66

This wasn't exactly great, though everyone treating Kuromine like a big creep is amusing. That ending though!

Jitsu wa Watashi wa 66

Didn't Mikan used to be really perceptive and nosy what happened

That was just so Asashi wouldn't get wise to her feelings, now that she's actively trying to win there's no reason for her to be pure evil anymore. Besides, Akane has taken up the roll of the demon general and does a far better job of it.

On that note, I can't believe she did that! They are so screwed!

Jitsu wa Watashi wa 66

Well know, this aught to be interesting. I wonder if its a permanent change, or if it's just a bit of trolling for the day.

Just trolling, look at the background. You can see giant ass boxes of tomatoes, so she didn't grow he just shrunk. Since she wished to be the same size as him, never said anything about her growing and it's Akane granting the wish here.

Holy shit, you're right! Akane trolls so goddamn good, this is worse than making her tall.

Are you sure?

The boxes don't look that big, and the floor tiles look about the same size before and after she pushed him.

Mahou Tsukai no Yome 15

I'm actually really surprised that Elias allowed Chise to travel to another country without him, especially to be accompanied by someone who apparently knows his history and doesn't think of Elias as being trustworthy
He seems oddly submissive when he needs to look up
Uc7ARPz.jpg
By the way, Chise got to eat some good shit. Mashed potatos and caribou stew is fucking awesome

Well yeah obviously.
I'm more surprised that Kaze decided that this shit was going to look good beside Ikigami in their lineup though...
Is my memory playing games or did Kaze buy another publisher some time ago, I don't remember picking up Hokuto no Ken (that they push as shonen btw) through them...
they've got Level E...
shouldn't last me till HxH comes back but still.

It's selling well in Japan so it's not too surprising that it'd get picked up.
Kazé bought Asuka a couple of years ago. I got the Hokuto no Ken books from both Asuka and Kazé. Don't know if they bought out any other publishing house though.

Eight days late. Hello, new thread.

Hi~ ヽ(´ー`)ノ

I see you and Uso love to make people suffer. You sick bastards ;_;

Yep. Now that's a pretty realistic character.
