Hmm, simple recolors of admittedly cool-looking runner shells vs. Arc boring ass cosmetics on androgynous mystery meat. Surely some extraction shooter will eventually get it right.

I actually like most of these skins but I see where the disappointment is coming from. Gamers love their dress-up and unfortunately I'm not the one Bungie needs to impress at this point.

The only shell I actively dislike is the glitch.

The recolours are whatever as they are free faction skins.
 
It is funny seeing people complain about the skins when every GAAS multi-player game creates majority generic skins to make the expensive skins more appealing.

Par for the course.

At this point with the amount of drive-bys in this thread, it's brutally obvious why it's happening. With all the attention it received, people want it to fail, they want it to be the next Concord, etc. I don't think that is going to disappear.

All they can do is a release a game they're hopefully proud of. Seeing all the negative attention was a shame, and while it was hard to ignore at times, I still hoped that it would work out for them. Hell, I still do.

I'll never understand the gun design criticism or the art style criticism. The pointy haired punk chick Runner is really the only thing that stands out as bad too me but she doesn't really look any worse than the two items above.

It will be fine, its a good game.

It would need to be something absolutely amazing for it to break out though after the horde came its way. Certainly it has a shot but definitely needed some work last time I played.
 
Sadly wasn't able to get into this playtest which is a shame because since the last one I've been wanting to play this more and I put a lot of time into the last one. I'm excited for this I really enjoyed what I played so regardless I'll probably be picking this up in March.

Nah I do get why some are finding her the weak point, but in more mainstream circles she seems by far the most popular design so maybe Bungie knows what they're doing with this one (and I do genuinely like the design myself).

Will this game have heavy advertising? I know that both Bungie and Sony want this to be a big success. Just hadn't seen anything yet.
