Grats... that build-a-figure sentinel is one of the coolest they ever made.

That figure and that setup is the shit! I need that in my collection.

I have a few, but they're too small for my liking. However, they do have a huge variety of characters, which is coolLegends are alright but Marvel Universe was where it was at for me.
Wasp in the Infinite line is probably my favorite Marvel figure.
Good time for it. Rocket and Nova were super hard to find for what felt like months. Now you can get both at reasonable prices.I'm currently picking off the Guardians of the Galaxy series on Amazon. The prices really go up and down. The Iron Man and Nova are both really cheap right now.
Thor looks so grumpy.Scarlet Witch figure is looking really good. Love the magic symbols.

I like them and still collect them.
For me, 1/12th is an excellent scale for figures. They are big enough to get some nice detail and posability without taking up tons of space or breaking your bank account, so you can collect more characters that way.
Here is the next Marvel Legends series, currently for pre-order. They are hitting market in late Jan/early Feb.

It's true, however the last several waves have been a big improvement. They are the best Hasbro has ever done.
I don't think I've ever seen a non-grumpy comics Thor figure.Thor looks so grumpy.
MWAHAHA!Subbed to this thread.
You fuckers may have just kick-started a very expensive hobby![]()
If you want their movie versions, it's best to wait until the Age of Ultron wave starts being sold. If not, comics Hawkeye and Thor are in the Odin wave.already bought Marvel Now Captain America, Avengers movie Hulk, some Iron-Man I found for cheap without box so not sure which Iron-Man is that (lol).
really looking for a good HawkEye, Widow, and Thor. living in Indonesia, it's hard to find these once you pass the sell date.
I also had GoTG movie StarLord and Winter Soldier (movie version) which looks awesome.
oh and superior spider-man, which is probably my favorite for how fun and posable it is.

Oh, man. I still have dozens of these things. My favorite is my big-ass Sentinel. You had to buy a bunch of figures that came with each of his pieces to complete him.
Neat!nah, I just choose whichever I like. my Cap is not movie version, so does my IronMan, although I want to try getting that SHF IronMan someone posted before. looks expensive, but cool
my collection so far

I have the Sentinel, the Galactus and the Apocalypse build a figures. I have a huge box of these things from back then. Have no idea what to do with them haha
Not Legends, but I want 80s Wolverine:

I had the Secret Wars one when I was a kid (among others):

lol look at it
Sweet! Those are the exact same three I have. I wish I had Giant Man, though. I really wanted him back in the day but I seem to remember some of those figures being very elusive.
I've always found their sculpting to be off and kinda inconsistent; but you get what you pay for. I'm also not a big fan of all these pricing increases on figures. I'm looking at 4" figures with awful detail at toys store and they're like $12-15 a pop. What the hell?
But I'm more of a Hot Toys kinda guy.
Get hyped for the upcoming Age of Ultron and remainder of the Guardians of Galaxy releases.
Prep your bank accounts and weep with me.

And that Groot Build-a-fig is so worth having
You are tempting me down a dark path.I always find it interesting how people say they can't afford Hot Toys. You can pre-order them months in advance through Sideshow and just put them on a payment plan. I always end up just putting everything on a payment plan and usually pay about $50-$75 a month. That's the same price as a couple of small figures a month. The reward system is amazing as well. Got $300 in reward points so far
I might need Hot Toys Vision. Hm... If I could resist Star-Lord, I can resist him haha.
Awesome! Hope the Legends version is good.Just announced. Marvel select ant man.

No! You shall not send me down this path. I resist!Resistance is futile!

Any good, relatively priced Deadpool, Wolverine or Batman figures available atm?
I'm not familiar with the toy lines like Marvel Legends etc
There's also way cheaper ways to get the Hot Toys than ordering from Sideshow's site. I bought all the Avengers ones from http://www.cornerstorecomics.com and they were each 15-30 bucks cheaper than on Sideshow's site. You're able to pre-order as well and I got them the same day they were released.
Awesome! Hope the Legends version is good.

This is why I've resisted buying one. Once I buy something that is part of a collection or series I must buy them all!Hot Toys is like crack, after you buy one you just can't stop. I think I've bought 14 in the past 2 years now
Wow, those look great. Really liking that Mikey with the nunchuk spin accessory.I love SHF, and I've heard good things about Figma Iron Man. I only have four Revoltech figures -- the Ninja Turtles from last year. I don't have any experience with thier Marvel/DC figures.

Anyway point is Japan is a strong force in the figure world right now and I'm happy they are starting to do more western characters like from DC & Marvel.
I'll be getting all of the SHF Marvel figures, I know that much.
I also ordered the SHF Darth Vader and Storm Trooper. (Yeah, I'm into 6" Star Wars as well, starting with Hasbro's 6" Black Series figures)

DAMN. Child me would be so jealous of you.At one time I had a complete Marvel Legends collection, the only ones I were missing were the prototypes. I since sold a majority of my figures, only keeping a handful of the best ones (face off cap, juggernaut, etc.). Awesome prices and an insane amount of articulation for the time.
Great line, probably the best toy line of all time.

A feeling only us toy collectors understand. I think I'm up to collecting Hot Toys, Marvel Legends, BTAS figures, NECA Predator and Alien, Star Wars Black series, and WWE Elite figures. Someone please just kill me before I go bankrupt
Damn, that's a lot of figures. I just have Star Wars (3 3/4 inch figures for now) and Marvel Legends collections going. I was going to collect BTAS, but I'm limiting myself to getting Joker. Terminator NECA is something I'm trying to track down at the moment. I'm too far down this rabbit hole to escape, man. I think the Hot Toys are next.A feeling only us toy collectors understand. LEGO is something that I know will definitely lead me to bankruptcy if I get into it.subtract WWE figures and add LEGO and you have me
(Hot Toys collectors don't know shit about bankruptcy, wait till you get into LEGO!)

Pfft, forget playing! Start collecting!Sadly I was past my toy playing days when these came out, but I would have loved them as a kid.
