So, what are the chances that Kingpin shows up in a Spider-Man movie? Vincent D'Onofrio is a well-known movie actor (he's even gonna be in Jurassic World), so he could pull it off.
Which is why he's a personal favourite character of mine. No fear tackling the downward spiral in DD's stories.
...
Isn't that Fisk narrating at the beginning? Pretty sure it's Fisk narrating at the beginning. He could have been a kid during the 70s/80s before the gentrification.
Plus, in-universe, hasn't it been... four years since Hell's Kitchen would have been destroyed?
Also, it's a different universe, maybe Hell's Kitchen never quite gentrified as much as in reality.
I wouldn't say zero percent.zero percent. i thought it was clear how this industry works
He got blind as a kid which the trailer implies. So I'm not up to speed with my DD origins. I remember he was in an atomic waste accident and got his blindness and powers there, but this trailer makes it seem, like he was blind even as a kid?
I hope they go with something similar to the McDaniel armored design.

I always liked that suit.
He got blind as a kid which the trailer implies.
That suit is associated with the worst run on Daredevil comics and seen as part of the awful mid-90's Marvel craziness. I doubt we are ever going to see it again.
What role could Kingpin play in another Marvel movie (besides as a villian in Spiderman)? (By role, I mean importance as a character, not regarding the actor). That's the beauty of it. It feels like its own beast, but it's meant to fit into the continuity of the MCU. Granted, Kingpin has the best chance of crossing over into the movies of anyone on this show, but I wouldn't rule out Daredevil in Infinity War (or any of the Defenders) should the shows prove successful.

http://goo.gl/phIA53Can you guys hook me up with a couple of essential daredevil reads.?
This reminds me of Firat Class in that this series will have a super villain origin story and story alongside the hero's. At risk of asking a stupid question what comic book movies or films tackled the villain's origin story.?
I wonder how much the show will take from Miller's run. The style, costume and stuff like Jack Murdock's boxing fight and him being trained by Stick is in. But I wonder if the whole plot of Mickey and the prostitute girl business of the mob is in too, brings the moment where Matt becomes a man, with it.
Or if they will mix things from other runs as well. So that they take from all these stories but where the main inspiration is Miller's run.
The series is not Miller's run or Bendis' run. I totally believe DeKnight when he says that it only draws inspiration but the story is original, because that's exactly what it looks like.
Miller's Man Without Fear is a graphic novel, not really part of his "run" so to speak, and the only things they seem to be taking from it is the black proto-costume. The actual origin story Miller imagined is heavily Elektra-centric and mostly takes place before Matt is even a lawyer. That's not going to be a big part of the series at all.

Miller's actual run in Daredevil also heavily involves things which are clearly not in the series - Bullseye, Elektra, Heather Glenn. The main thing which we see in the trailers so far is that Kingpin is indeed "returning" to Hell's Kitchen to make his mark there, so that's similar to what Miller did, but even then the tone and context is very different. The Kingpin here appears to be pre-Vanessa, a younger and maybe a bit more idealistic Kingpin. Not the ganglord who tried to walk away and got dragged back in.
The only time Miller ever used Karen Page was in Born Again, and Bendis never got to use her. So that stuff is all going to be drawing from other stuff or created to fit the context of the show. They're also introducing Daredevil as a character here, so it seems premature to even touch the idea of him being outed. The tone we've seen is definitely very similar to the sort of hard crime story Bendis did, but it seems to be mostly the atmosphere, rather than actual narrative.
If anything, I'll say DeKnight's version of Daredevil here is sort of a "what if a Miller style Daredevil story is retold right from the beginning without being limited to a prequel story like Man Without Fear, and was illustrated by Alex Maleev".![]()
Should I read Brian Bendis' run or Kevin Smith's Guardian Angel after The Man Without Fear? I haven't read any of the two to be honest but Guardian Angel seem to take place in the far future.
Is there anything between Man Without Fear and Guardian Angel I might have missed though?

You would think the song would have available for download around the same time as the trailer. they should've known there was gonna be demand for it. So much $$ making potential. If they wait to long people may forget about it.
