They will make $$$ off this vaccine, if people think this will be free is silly. Yeah they will probably offer it for FREE, but them side effects that could hit you will make you have to buy pills so they can make money on the back end. I’m just saying. I don’t agree with no great reset shit, but they will get their money a different way right in front of everyone.

Big pharma's heavily invested in vaccine development/distribution, so the scarier they make this virus look the better their returns. To capitalize on this requires shutting down opposing points of view with help from media/big tech and that wasn't difficult because there's some crossover there (Google/GSK quickly comes to mind). Having millions of social media "influencer" accounts backed by DARPA-funded AI kept the divisiveness and hysteria alive and well, too. You can look this stuff up with very little effort.
They needed to speed vaccines through because the foundation of this pandemic is built on those PCR tests and at least one court ruling earlier this month has already exposed them as a giant fraud. The media's been dead silent on this which should raise alarm bells, but they're heavily dependent on pharma ad dollars and interested in keeping this narrative alive.

The two challenges to the court ruling in that story are intentionally misleading (lying by omission) and whoever wrote it doesn't take the time to point that out - this kind of reporting is the reason we find ourselves in the mess we do today.
First, the specificity and accuracy mentioned are simply detecting genetic fragments with a binary positive/negative result and that alone won't tell you whether you're infectious or not. Second, the final paragraph where Vasco Barreto says the court ruling is inaccurate because his lab runs the tests with 25 cycles is laughable because we already know these tests are conducted at 35 cycles or more in many places around the world (throwback to the NYT article). As I posted last month, New Zealand's University of Otago states they run them at 45 cycles.
I'm 100% convinced that Portugal ruling will be backed up by other lawsuits that have already been filed around the world, so what happens to this pandemic narrative when the mainstream media can't hide the truth any longer?

All we have said is if you look at the numbers they don't match up with the narrative being sold.
Its no secret anyone can check who is dying and going to hospitals/ICUs from this thing. The data is all out there.
If you are from Canada and seeing 90% of your deaths over 70, 96% over 60, and pretty much everyone with multiple underlying conditions it makes you question why some dude is getting arrested for opening his restaurant and when did we as a free people democratically agree to something like that?
So ya if you get COVID take care, take vitamins, isolate and if you aren't old/sick you have a 99.99% chance of beating it. I would suggest that you take Zinc, D and other vitamins to help your immune system not only against the RONA but flu and colds too. Get healthy as well and do exercise every day. If you are really scared avoid contact as much as possible and wear a mask. Your health is up to you and what level of risk are willing to put into a living your life.

The issue I’ve had with this virus is the politicization of it. All for the sake of saying orange man bad.

I am really hoping for a Boris Hail Mary of vaccinations starting next Monday, and rolling out like a machine until Easter. That would really bring some shine on the UK brand once again. Seeing how he bumbles ahead in everything he does, I remain only very cautiously optimistic. But it would be an amazing turn of fortunes for UK.

Banning outdoor dining in Los Angeles is just cruel and unusual punishment IMO. It has nothing to do with science or data - there is literally no evidence outdoor dining is a risk factor (and limited data even indoor dining is), and LA has year-round mild weather. When I lived there, I ate outdoors in December and January all the time, it was an amazing novelty but just the way of life there.
This means though, that the climate gives businesses the opportunity to survive while their tyrant government runs amok, but those same tyrants are not even giving the businesses that chance. The way these governments are operating, changing their plans on a whim, forcing business owners to invest thousands of dollars to reopen and then taking that away from them, it is just beyond the pale and totally un-American in every way.

Two points about this,
1. Even if lockdowns "work" in bringing infections under control, once infections are "under control", as soon as you "open up", the rates go up again. Thus dooming you to an endless lockdown-open-lockdown-open cycle that destroys the economy and social life all the same.
2. Even if lockdowns do lower the infections, they are not cost-free and must be weighed against it. Most if not all the analyses of the ones from earlier in the year came to the conclusion that they were not.
The point is that lockdowns must be viewed across the entire spectrum and how their effectiveness at addressing COVID goes against the cost of the economy, the jobs, the closed businesses, the kids that can't get taught properly, the inability of people to get routine medical care, the rises in depression, alcoholism, and drug abuse, etc. etc. A few times I've posted about a 31 year old woman who died because she couldn't get her needed chemo treatments anymore, and this is the sort of thing that must be taken into account but never is. Or when people see lines of miles for emergency food banks because they can't feed their kids anymore, they blame "the pandemic" as opposed to actually blaming the fact that the government unilaterally shut down and took away their ability to feed their kids.
I think it's worth noting that a year ago, the idea that we would literally shut down all of society and the economy to stop a virus with a 99.98% recovery rate would have been too insane to even entertain, but here we are and millions if not billions of people believe lockdown should be the default state indefinitely.

A woman I know has passed away recently from cancer. She had a number of appointments cancelled due to Covid-19.
Turns out the hospital is almost empty of Covid patients but still, got to put Covid first and fuck everything & everyone else.
She leaves behind 3 teenage children and a husband. Imagine if she was allowed those appointments, imagine if her treatment(s) werent postponed ....

This is the type of shit we're going to be hearing about more and more. My wife's cowoker's mother died of cancer last week. She was diagnosed in September, as a result of a routine appointment that was in August. That routine appointment was supposed to happen in April, but ended up delayed four months due to COVID. Would things have been different? Who knows.

The state legislature in Ohio filed articles of impeachment against governor Mike DeWine. I have no problems with this. DeWine started out strong in his response to the pandemic, and I respected him for it even if I disagreed with his decision making. Since the early stages he's been a spineless coward who has waffled on everything and tried to play both sides of the fence on things. I doubt he'll get impeached because it would require a 2/3 vote in the state Senate. But I'm glad to see some action being taken against this nonsense. His indefinite state of emergency is the thing that pisses me off most. After 60 days this should require some type of legislative action to remain in effect. You shouldn't get to just sign off on an order from a non-elected official and wield this type of power forever.
On a similar note, our elected officials are supposed to represent the will of the people. At least here in American they are supposed to. Those of you who champion lock downs and think this is no big deal, do you actually believe government reflects the will of the people, or is it up to the government to tell the people how to live their lives? Because if the people who elected you want to get on with their lives and do not care about COVID, then the elected officials aren't doing their jobs with lockdowns and mandates.
I'm sure you will just disagree and say the pleebs don't know what is good for them.
