The gameplay is already perfect so they can focus on everything else.

An inclusion of some more RPG-systems, like, I dunno, some minor loot, the ability to customize the armor for your squadmates and a better system for talent points distribution (I hated the system in Mass Effect 2). As big of a ME fan as I am, this game going to come out alongside the Elder Scrolls V. It'll be like the battle of the titans.

I am kinda hoping, though, that they'll both get delayed into early 2012, if only so my exams won't suffer.

Don't forget that it was heavily implied that collectors were in fact protheans, and that the final boss in ME2 was a reaper mixed with human dna. Whatever it is the reapers are up to it obviously involves assimilation of the dna of the races they destroy.

I'm sure only a very small portion will take place on Earth. I think this trailer satisfies the people who wanted to see what Earth was like after not being able to travel there in ME1 & 2.

And at the end of the day, we know JACK about the story, apart from the Reapers meaning to shit fuck up. In London no less.

I don't think Earth will be the last level - it makes no sense why one planet would be so important in the galactic scheme of things. Surely to stop the Reapers will cause Shepard to beat the fuck out of them in dark space. I expect Earth to be a starter level of sorts to at least repel the reapers whilst a counter-attack is planned.

I'm really hoping Bioware pulls a Halo 2 and ships your ass off Earth before the dust from your landing has settled. I don't want to be stuck in boring urban environments for any substantial portion of the game. Ideally, Shepard will take the fight to the Reapers instead of the other way around.

Maybe the Reapers will grab a few million snacks/slaves from Earth and then toddle off so something more interesting can happen.

Can't wait for this. Loved Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2, although I'm a little concerned with the game coming out in 2011. Seems too early, I hope it's not rushed. If they can take the gameplay of ME2 and mix in more RPG stuff and more open planets I'll be pleased.

The gameplay sucked more in ME1 with the MAKO and the beepbeepbeep weapons :I
the inventary was also a mess.
Overall ME2 is way more pleasant to play than ME1.
