why didn't they fix her face?
30FPS on consoles, yea.Have you heard about the framerate on the different platforms? Locked 30 on all consoles?

Same, gonna be tempted to trade it for a 1080ti if not.
Game is looking fanastic though.

that sounds like an insult
Know anything about PS4Pro support?30FPS on consoles, yea.
Shit that looked smooth. Probably get this in PC. Will play the trial on XB1.
There's an EA Access equivalent on PC (Origin Access), but no real demo on PC.There will most likely be a trial on PC too.
Yeah, I don't get this. I mean you may as well say to people you meet in real life "What's up with your face?" as real people can have wonky faces (not saying Ryder does). And anyway don't like her face? Change it with the (hopefully decent) character creater. What's wrong with her face? Proportions look fine.

Should be 1800p checkerboard, HDR with another option for 1080p with higher visuals.Know anything about PS4Pro support?
Perfect.Should be 1800p checkerboard, HDR with another option for 1080p with higher visuals.
Regardless it'll be sharp.

Reminds me of Vanquish in a lot of ways. I'm finally impressed.
30fps on PS4 pro?
Hopefully the laptop GTX1070 can run this at 1080p/60
Looks gorgeous
Those facial and conversational animations look atrocious. Bioware needs to do a serious overhaul of their animations team at some point.
I know a lot of people are going to disagree with me but having only ever played the first Mass Effect, I wish it had that style of gameplay.
Combat looks great. Very unimpressed with pretty much everything else so far.
Any clue how the player character teleports a few feet out of cover and then to another cover around this timestamp: https://youtu.be/HrWgLMH8yRU?t=48
They don't look atrocious. If that warrants the usage of the word "atrocious", then something like Fallout 4 is a literal war crime.
At worst, it looks serviceable.
No it doesn't look serviceable. Bioware's animation department has always been bad but I was hoping that with the jump to the current gen that they would put more effort into that category considering the litany of criticisms they got for it last generation. However besides the combat animations, it looks to be on the same level as before, which is to say very bad.
.
She's using the dash evade.
I...don't think you remember the ME trilogy's face animations very well. Some of the face animations in this game don't look great compared to the best in the industry, but this

is light years ahead of last gen BW.
Played mass effect 1 to death on insanity. It's my favourite game in the series. I would never accuse it of having depth in its combat system. I'm not sure if further from the truth. I can understand finding an appeal in its stats based combat or its simplicity. My favourite part about it personally is cross class unlocks for repeat playthroughs. But... depth? Eeg. I'm just nitpicking though. I know that this obviously really doesn't change how you feel about it.Right there with you. Seems that whatever IP bioware makes with depth in their combat system, they feel like they must get rid of the identity the combat once had to "improve" it. I feel like i'm not looking at Mass Effect at all. Everything i've liked about rpgs or action games with rpg lite elements feels like it has been disappearing. Pessimistic, i know, but i'm still waiting for a Dragon Age game with the ai/tactics system from the original.
Who knows though? I may be wrong about this iteration's rpg system in particular, despite how much of an actiony shooter it looks like.
