Massive Killzone Shadow Fall campaign blow-out on GTTV this week

I've seen a footage. Very nice world design, seems like interesting story. Helgasts bits were great as usual.

I liked very much the city level with building You can explore and walls You can crash, very sandboxy.

They fixed shadow rendering on characters, they actually render further than 10 meters now - good. Its visible in the last part, where they are fighting in the forest.

The less i say about rain level, the better though, i hope this one was from very old build.

And quality of video from GT is fucking terrible. How can You have even worse quality than youtube on Your own site is beyond me.

This area also looked awesome, love the skyboxes in this game. Nice to see 3D assets that just seem like they go on for miles.

If someone could gif these two scenes (Helghast getting knifed and the vista) and I'd really appreciate it!

Rain looks better in that HD video. Good enough for my liking but I can see where people think it's off a little.

Surely though there is ABSOLUTELY NO WAY (sorry for caps but it needs it!) that this will be the final rain in the game?

I think that's probably the case - they couldn't quite get the good rain effects with a steady framerate in time for this video so they put simpler placeholder stuff in. Looking forward to seeing if it's different in the final version. I mean, Gears of War 1 had better looking rain, Guerrilla aren't gonna lose that battle.

Really liking that you can repel on walls, go stealthy or all out action. The levels seems like the perfect blend between sandbox and linear. Hype rising!

Yes, it's a shame the GT guys call this "HD", but we already know this game is 1080p, so that's probably not so important. The lighting is outstanding.

They are still in 720p with horrible compression... Better than 2006 but still am mess.
Cant wait to play this in 1080p :D

Looks really good most of the time, although it shows some weaknesses here and there. Launch window games and all that, no surprise.\

Edit: Oh, I didn't know Killzone had that much destruction in it! Liked the part where you could create your own path through walls and shit. Sweet.

Interesting, the lead tech guy talking about what has improved since the initial reveal.

He claims that texture quality is 4 times higher which I find hard to believe.

The rain is aweful!
Disappointed by the video quality...Also, surprised that from what was on display, the MP looked way more impressive than the SP portion. Might be the 60 fps feel, but still...
The facial animations (the black officer) leave to be desired -euphemism-...
Mixed feelings for the time being.

I honestly can't tell if the visual inconsistencies are related to the player or the game. How the hell does a site that specializes in visual content have a worse player than YouTube. Damn I hate GT

Obviously Guerrilla knows their technical stuff, but there are quite a few things that look really off and that could have been probably much better and more impressive with more talented people. Or maybe I'm just tired of all the typical fps tropes...I mean specifically the scene where you go through the checkpoint and the person before you gets caught and escorted away....you've seen that stuff since 2005, kinda tired of it.

That black guy's eyes also looked really off, I imagine that will be the same with most other characters you interact with.

Yeah, it reminds me of the very beginning of Killzone 3 where you make your way through the Helghan base in disguise.

I had to turn off adblock to watch past the first segment of the video and was then subjected to having to see the same 15-second myspace ad 8 times. EIGHT. Twice every 5 minutes with no option to skip and being able to only mute the first instance of the ad.

Seriously, GO TO HELL GT, that was the worst web experience I've had in years.

I used to like you guys but, ever since my account log in started not working for no reason (wasn't banned - it just didn't let me log in and there was no way to file a support ticket without being logged in...) and recent shit like this, just wow. If it weren't for your 'exclusives', I'd literally never come back.

The game looks phenomenal but GTTV either needs to update their entire capturing footage, video player or make these campaign blow-outs use another video player that fully uses 1080p because this looks compressed as all hell.

Looks awesome. That penthouse level looks like a ton of fun, I have a bit of a fetish for destructible walls/environments, so this game has really turned me on now.

I dunno why, but I really liked how in the second section of the video when he goes into the dark bunker thing how the blue muzzle flash was really putting a blue light on the environment, I'm gonna end up shooting around dark areas just because it looks pretty.

This looks very good for a launch game.

Nice graphics, single player actually looks interesting, robust multiplayer.

Might get it.

The rain is a legit complaint and I can't imagine were seeing a final build of that level because it is genuinely distracting. It looks like they took the footage and added a CC Particle effect to it in After Effects that is just white streaks.

What the hell were some of you on about!? This looks absolutely stunning. I'm not a FPS fan but this new footage has changed my mind. I WANT THIS GAME!
