Oh I definitely saw it coming. I said as much during RAW as soon as the Smackdown promos aired still focusing on "Christian's lost dream" on a week where Orton and Sheamus were facing off for the title.
I'm with you in that I actually do hope they keep Christian as an "I want the title at all costs" face. It's really the one approach that could salvage the way they've booked this. Full untelegraphed heel turn would not be well-received by me.
